I love that chip is always talking about carol, but she gets woven into the story at the most unsuspecting of times. like fresh out of combat, no roleplay ocurring, just smack out of nowhere.
Personal theory about Carol. Either blackmail or coin she what roped in to helping Eddy somehow. And after a while she realizes she is on the wrong side of maybe just because she is against her husband Chip. She has no choice but to still help Eddy but starts leaving clues to help Chip and his friends from the inside. Just a theory but that is what I think right now.
Doubt anyone sees this now but man hemogoblin was like one of the most offensive dc villains I’ve ever seen. Basically he attacked people and gave them HIV to keep it short
I hope Chip's wife went off to the store and left a really long note like 2 pages. Like the final page was a midwestern goodbye and reiterated that she went to the store to stock up on groceries for like a month

But if the show continue to glow up, do you think of doing Netflix series or Prime video series or something like that like Critical Role did with VoX Machina??
Since we're being rules lawyering at the end. Technically Barney wouldn't had been able to cast both bless and spiritual weapon as you can only cast 1 leveled spell a turn 🤓 leveled spell + cantrip would've been fine
I almost choked on my drink laughing when Chip put his hands on his hips and managed to end the fight! A very Kyborg like moment... I also love the poll results from RTX, because it is the same results of how I felt listening to campaign 1. I loved the dumb Kyborg moments, and I would probably pick him as my favorite, but its actually so close to call, I loved them all for so many reasons. I just started listening to the podcast about 2 months ago, and binged my way all the way through up to current, so for me, the first campaign was every day for about 2 months, and now its gone, But I'm loving campaign 2 so far! I find myself liking Mathilde (yes I had to google how to spell the name) the most, but really everyone has the moments that makes it impossible to pick a favorite! Love the show, and I wait for every Wednesday for each episode!

Even though theyre not super detailed i absolutely fucking love the character portraits. Goes to show you dont need a ton of detail to give characters personality.
They are very stylized and at a short glimpse definitely gives off the vibes of each of them respectively. Easy to read and befitting of their world and the humor of the show. I always thought I could see them animated, going from one moment being chill to the next being hyper expensive and
Backseat DM moment: Ellga should have gotten her strength modifier to her thrown attack. I thought she'd be able to use Reckless Attack to mitigate disadvantage, but sadly it only works on melee. But the true travesty was that no one used cover! After Mathilde began trading blows with the Hemogoblin and stood there in the open I started yelling like a football fan at a coach! Gus mentioned trees in the grassy fields, and maybe(?) a pavilion of some kind, with a Monk's movement speed he might have been able to move behind half, or even 3/4 cover and protected himself from more blood bullets
Then Elga's +2 weapon the DM said it only affects to hit, but it also does dmg. The only complaint I have with the DM is he's doing a million checks for small things, which I guess is fun for them which is fine, but overall combat seems to be les thought out.
31:12 is no one going to talk about how chip just did a fantastic crow impression? Like it was spot on! I thought it was a sound effect. I am very amused by Elgah’s antics this episode! Great stuff!
No, pretty sure its because it doesn't have a gender. They touched on it briefly a couple episodes back, when Barney kept saying Sir while mat was carrying him across the dessert. Mat dropped him in frustration because they felt offended...

Hello, super late. In episode one or two, Jon said he made Mathilde a non-binary character. It came about when Barbara made a comment about "A unfriendly French women?" and Jon said "An unfriendly non-binary French bird" (or something to that regard)
Would be really nice if the pronoun insanity wasn’t pervading every facet of life. It is dull now. Love the series guys, never been someone that has played or listened to D&D before. This series makes me want to find some people to play a campaign with though ❤
