I had a few encounters where in the day time I was taking a nap and due to some noise, be it by tv or family members having conversation, my sleep got disturbed. At this time I became conscious but my body was still sleeping. I couldn't even open my eyes, nor could I scream out that I was not able to move. It was the most claustrophobic I ever felt. I felt trapped in my own body. The only thing I could do was wait for either my body to return to my command or fall asleep again. I believe it is called sleep paralysis. Let me know if you know what it is called.

Sleeping paralysis is similar to it I guess , I had sleeping paralysis at night 2 am and my eyes were open but I wasn't able to make any move in bed , I was seeing opened eye nightmare where a ghost was coming close to me , even my sibling was just near me but I wasn't even able to shout and I was sweating so fast like I was thinking my heart gonna break into pieces , after 10 minutes I forced my internal soul by saying wake uppppp then I woke up and I was scared that I even cried.

if someone wants a minor or less harmful version of locked in syndrome then Sleep paralysis is best example which doesn't last long yet it gives almost same experience although you can breath in sleep paralysis but your chest and whole body will feel super heavy. Your vision will be blurry and you can't move even your head.
