LOONA x Taylor Swift - Stylish x Cruel Summer

- hi everyone!! i'm back with a requested mashup from one of my friends, and it's stylish and cruel summer by loona and taylor swift respectively. i have never listened to these songs before, and i was really surprised to see how much they sound alike. i really enjoyed the process and both were such good songs that i fell in love with.
i had a lot of trouble and pains editing the video as my software kept crashing for some reason. luckily i found a way around it and finally finished! i wanted to express a story with the video, and i apologize as it was not as good as i expected it to be. i hope you guys enjoy!

(a short explanation of what i tried to show as i lowkey failed + the quality of the vid's kinda bad) if you notice, there are two borders used for the video, which are black and white. these represent timelines of the story i wanted to express.
taylor's story starts with her life in the mansion with her lover. as she devotes herself to love, she loses her identity and escapes to find herself. the black borders (blank space) are the ones BEFORE she escapes, and the white is for the events AFTER she escapes.
the story of loona in the video is rooted in the yyxy subunit. the four girls try to escape eden, their mansion. they are rescued by the rest of the loona girls. the black borders represent the yyxy subunit WHILE they are in eden and DURING their escape, while the white borders represent the events AFTER their escape, as the girls are reunited.
both taylor and the yyxy girls go through the same experiences in the video: they escape a mansion and they go through the forest. in the end, they all find themselves as they enter a new universe.
Obviously TS was inspired by Loona's song, yet she had no motives of giving the Stylish writers/produces credits. Meanwhile, TS credit-grabs Olivia's DeJe Vu, when all Olivia did was sing in a harmonized chant, a style of singing that TS clearly do not own, plus the two songs do not sound remotely the same. TS needs to give back Olivia the credits she does not deserve.
lol, move on, and stop being dumb. the only similarities is the key and synth. The rhythm, and chords, are definitely different. and if you listen closely, the melody is different, as well, but still kind of similar at the beginning.
Olivia HERSELF said she used Cruel summer's bridge in the song, her legal team couldve disputed the royalties to be a lot lower but they were cowards and just probably gave them the same thing Paramore's Bassist was suing them for regarding another song
Hello, just wanted to say that Taylor didn't force Olivia to give her credits. Olivia's team saw the backlash and offered it to Taylor. Now, this is what I've heard. So, instead of speculating everything; why not just enjoy the music? Both are good, there's no point of hating.
A lot of songs sound alike. It might be coincidence, you know. Did Taylor herself tell you that she was inspired by this? It's clear that you just hate Taylor and don't even care about the other artists you've mentioned. Everything seems to be fine, nobody's suing anybody; so why care? It's not like you wrote the song or something.
@@brentandrewdulin2824 Dejavu and Cruel summer are two distinct song. While Stylish and Cruel Summer sound so alike. Stylish released in 2018 while Cruel summer is 2019. Please explain to me why they sound so alike

That's why when I listen to stylish it sounds so similar but I can't pinpoint it at first. It's similar to cruel summer that's why!

I see poor choice of words. Beg? Hypocrise? Hey, just because they sound similar, doesn't mean somebody had copied somebody. Plus, we didn't know what happened. It's unclear if Taylor actually sued Olivia and asked for credits. Also, loona wouldn't sue Taylor because it's simply not that big.
