WHITNEY HOUSTON is a singer, Baryshnikov and Debbie Allen are dancers, Janet Jackson is neither.
Everything you just stated can be applied to an artist like a Whitney Houston and many other artists for that matter. Because rest assured, Whitney had songwriters, producers, production, promotions, weaves, fog, lights, outfits etc. You have Clive Davis to thank for that. Yes Whitney was known for her voice but Janet has had a hand in her career as well. Plus the women has been working since the age of 7 so she was practically born into this industry. She wasn't some random women who was pulled off the street and became some overnight sensation.
