I've seen your other video about what practical skills one needs to acquire prior to landing in Canada. These have helped convince me that it's best if I postpone my dates further so that I acquire all the pre requisite skills and thoroughly research the courses, the job market and prospective careers, banking, taxation and all the other basics instead of just taking a giant leap of faith. Thank you and I hope I'll get to see you in person someday ! Cheers !

When my parents immigrated to Canada in the 60s they worked very hard to learn and speak English. Learn the culture and history. Dress well. Respect Canada.

1. Not hyperfocus on grades and think this is the only requirement to get job after graduation. Learn skills alongside 2. Come at least 15-20 days before the class starts 3. Choose your selected major relevant courses. 4. Start looking at the job descriptions and profiles of successful people in your chosen field and start developing such skills from the first semester. Don't wait till your last semester 5.Don't share accommodation with your classmates as there will be no one to do household chores when exam/quizzes comes in.
