Irvin is absolutely correct that in what they did to Mahomes by comparing him to Brady was a total diservice to Patrick. He’s got the making of a great quarterback but to put so much pressure on him so early in his career was an awful thing to do. Now they’re starting to do it to Burrow too! Totally unprofessional!

People forget how clutch and underrated Tom was at Michigan. He should have been the full time starter, but the coach fell in love with the 2 sport prospect who could run and had a big arm. If he pulled a Burrow and went to another solid program and had a full year to start, I'd imagine he would have been drafted much higher. Maybe not 1st round, but 2nd or 3rd would have been plausible. Glad it happened the way it did tho and he brought 6 titles and 20 years of greatness to my Pats

In 2015 lots of people were saying Brady should retire. Since then he beat Mahomes in the afc champ game in overtime and in the SB. If not for Brady mahomes might have 3 super bowls. And so many people would be saying Mahomes is the greatest. Brady not only added to his legacy by staying this long but he also protected it from the next generation of players. He needs to come back and win another. He is still at the top of his game.
