2023 Optic Football Blasters - Finally!

- Welcome everyone to another football card rip. I was finally fortunate enough to find a couple of blaster boxes of 2023 Donruss Optic football blasters at my local Target. The first time that's happened since I've been back in the hobby. I was very excited to find them and really happy to rip them. Check it out and let me know what you thought the best card(s) were. Hello Lance, fun opening blaster boxes. I like the looking of thoses cards. As usual my favourite cards are the throwback players cards ( Jerome Bettis and Christain Okoye. Thanks you my friend for sharing and Happy Collecting.

Nice you were able to scoop up some optic! These blasters are difficult to come by and you hit at a Target. I never get luck at Target. My luck lies with Walmart.

Meijer capitalizes on the secondary market markup.. so long as D & A and Blowout have em for $40 or more, Meijer will sell out every restock in short order?!

@@oldnewrips it seems like Walmart has started to put a small premium on certain sets over the last couple years, but nothing like the Meijer markup. When you mentioned you hadn't found blasters in the wild I got to thinking and i don't think i have either? Maybe once at B&N, but only cellos & hangers that i can recall.. it's like we're in a black hole over here sometimes, lol

I haven't seen a decent football product on shelves since the horrendous covid invasion of 20' either.
Stinks that the scumbag invading scalpers/secondary market sellers/wannabe breakers hog it all up so no actual TRUE collectors can get their hands on any.
VERY frustrating.
Makes it very hard to enjoy the hobby these days.

Yeah, I've heard quite a few prefer the pinks. They're definitely clean looking cards. It was amazing to finally find some out in the wild. We have a lot of breakers and resalers in the area so I was probably very lucky. They were probably hidden on the floor somewhere and picked up when the employees were doing inventory.
