Can you go over some marci tech and info? Such as w and its interactions like landing early if you hit a cliff or when the target you w blinks, q and the difference toss timings etc
How do you use W so fast? Marci was my fav since release (even in anime she is cutie-pie), but with quickcast I always struggle to use it so fast, I mean, I hold and drag area, but I want to use it like you, without it showing me area / indicator, so I can cast it quicker. Same as Void Spirit's Q, it needs to be positioned, if there is faster way to use those spells, I would like to hear.
I use quick cast but I’ll use W on the target I want to jump from and during the time it takes to walk to the target and jump I move my mouse to where I want to land. Hopefully that helps
I'm an old-school Dota player, I use whatever the default, but what you see in the video doesn't show the area/indicator (how far the skill can cast or aoe, just because of how I exported the video) but I have it on which is I recommend. Unfortunately, I do not use the quick cast or another way( I am using the default drag and click), I cast W so fast is just a muscle memory, yeah if you are not playing Marci often you will have a hard time clicking and dragging. I still miss clicking sometimes but that happened. But you can warm up by demoing her and just practicing there, that helps me before going into the rank game. I hope that helps!
Yes, almost every match if I overfarm them in the early game(farming is when I get lots of kills and snowballing), but there are just some matches I have to go more support item, for example, forcestaff is good when you have to fight against riki, slark, underlord, sky, etc. Vladmir when you play with a lots of physical damage dealers or pl that you cant really E him( otherwise enemy knows which is a real pl) I suggest if you are learning, going for support items( it always great for the team), I just have lots of experience with Marci which can make up by making space rather than buying support items. If can make the team win that matters. There will be more vids coming up with different items I use, stay tune!
marci is indeed a wonderful scaling support. if you cannot be disabled, you can permadisable a carry even the late game with just your ulti and bkb. if you do have items, then you decimate everyone that cannot defend against physical attacks. in very hard games though, where the enemy would want to push earlier, there is no comeback mechanic if you die often(and i assume you will as a pos 5 who initiates ganks, wards, and scouts). in this case your greatest contribution is your lifesteal bonus to the carry
