この世界に誇れる作品をもっともっと知って欲しい。
公開直後にレイトショーで見に行った。大きな映画館で座席はガラガラ、気兼ねなく涙を流しながら見た。
たまに耳を澄ますとあちこちから鼻をすする音が聞こえた。みんな同じように感動してるんだと安心して更に涙が溢れた。
見たことない人類たち、一度見てくれ。
この映画はほとんどの点において素晴らしいんだけど、一つだけ失敗したことがあって、広告が不十分だった。それが故に、同じ時期に出た「君の名は」に負けてしまった。
内容だけならば、絶対にこっちの方が評価はいい。泣けるし、感動するし、作画も負けず劣らず、そして美しい。
これが埋もれた作品だということが何より悔しい。

なんかわざと広告少なくして、監督さんこの映画に巡り会えた人にだけ感動をって感じっての聞いた
映画でこれだけ泣いたの久々だった。涙が零れるっていう表現が正しいくらいぼろぼろ泣いてた。ただただ優しい作品だった。
恋愛系かと思っていましたが全く違う「愛」の物語でした。。
This anime taught us so much. From a lady's life and freedom to cherishing a family. All the choices made by the characters in the anime was a good plot that shows us in real life, thing happens for a reason. When that day comes from the reason it happened, no matter what family is everything till the end. It doesn't matter blood related or not. It is the bond that matters. Understanding one and another. Respecting each other.

我在影院里哭的稀里哗啦的，在地铁里也哭的稀里哗啦，回家又哭了两个小时，给妈妈打电话，又哭了。生活中总是会忽略掉一些理所应当的感情，总是有震撼人心的人或者事儿抑或是电影，告诉我们珍惜和可贵。
我嘛~是在Emirate飛機上看的，還好當時燈光是暗的~眼淚流的稀哩嘩啦的

この映画、どれだけ凄いかって産まれて24年映画は2.3本しか見なくて、テレビも年2.3回しか見ない自分がPVで一目惚れして初映画館に1人足を運んでBlu-rayも買って初見時に6回は泣いて何回も見てまた何回も泣いて、それくらい素晴らしい映画。君の名はと時期がダブってしまったせいで影が薄くなってしまったが明らかに君の名はよりも感動する。これ以上に涙を流す映画は無いんじゃないだろうか。
素晴らしい点を語るとなるとコメントに収まらない位に全てにおいて評価が高い。

I watched Maquia on the plane and I cried so hard, It hits the feels so much. It was such an amazing experience, Maquia is such a masterpiece and I was lucky that that airline had Maquia in the movies list.
I watched it on the plane too, twice.
I only watched it once in theaters 2 years ago but I really need to get that blu ray man I can’t forget this movie

この映画は、おなじみのない世界で迷子になった女性についてのものです。彼女は、母親を保護するためにこの母親を保護し、赤ちゃんを大いに育てました。 母親の最も裕福な子供への愛についての映画。 とても感動的でした
要約すると、主人公であるこの女性は歳をとらない一族の村人であり、国からの襲撃により村が崩壊してしまいます。
なんとか抜け出し逃げているうちに、盗賊に会い虐殺された家族を発見します。目をつむって逃げようとしたその瞬間赤子の鳴き声が響き渡ります。母親は死後硬直で赤子を抱きしめる形になっており死なせまいと赤子を引き取ります。
めちゃくちゃ感動するのでぜひ観て下さい。

ほんとに映画と歌がマッチしすぎだよね。最後のエンディングが綺麗すぎてずっと余韻に浸ってしまう
そーゆー入り好きだわ。
普通のエンドロールだったら端っこに動いてたりする絵とかが流れるけどこの映画はおっきな絵がずっと同じペースで動いててさ、映画の余韻がなかなか抜けないのはその影響もあるのかもね。最近見返そうと思ってレンタルして見たらやっぱり泣いたわ

I am saying this as one who strongly prefers japanese OSTs than english versions. There may be others like myself who feel that there are instances when the feeling and true meaning of the lyrics somehow change so we stick to the originals.
I haven't checked your other videos so I am basing all my feelings and thoughts about this from your voice alone. I can say, with all due fairness, that you've created such a wonderful cover. People's opinion may vary from mine, but for me, you gave justice to this piece.

母親、父親になってもう一度観たいです。長命種が人間にどう接していくか、付き合い方の線引きは難しく少女自身の青臭さ不器用さも表現しており感動しました。外見は小さな女の子でしたが立派な母親であり芯の強い女性です。

我有點不懂的是他們的約定是什麼
ネタバレ読んだだけでも、泣けるレベル。映画でこの神曲と組み合わさったら間違いなく号泣しそう。胸糞悪いような部分もありつつ、ちゃんと綺麗な世界も絵とかで表せてる感じが好き。
綺麗な部分だけじゃなく、人間の汚い部分、脆いところとかも描写されてて、対比が大きくなってより綺麗な部分が魅力的に映る。
この作品とはそんな関係無いんだけど、悠久の時を生きる主人公(ヒロイン)と短命の普通の人間の物語っていいよね。悲しくはあるけど、片方が死んでしまって残された一人が自分達が作り上げた(基礎となる人間の一人として携わった)街や国を見守るみたいなの好き。思い出に浸りながら、森の中でゆっくり過ごしたりするのも好き

なんと美しく、なんと切ない映画だったろう…。
マキアは歳を取るのが非常にゆっくりだから容姿は変わらなかったけど、「母」としての想いの変化がたしかに感じられた。
また、エリアルの葛藤もよく分かる。
個人的には、母は最初から母なのではなく、子と共に母になっていくのだなと思った。
だから、最後に母としてエリアルを見送るマキアの姿には涙が止まらなかったな…。

アニメを今見たんだけど
ほんとに綺麗だった...
マキアが本当に強くて優しくて
最初は1人を恐れたりしてたマキアが“母親”として強く愛を知っていくのがめっちゃ良かったです...！！
最後は各々に別れがあったり特にエリアルとマキアが離れてしまう時は悲しかったけどきっとマキアも色々我慢して別れを選んだんだって感動でした
最後はお互いのただいまとお帰りを聞けてよかった！！😢💖

A bit of a long story, sorry.
I was minding my way through an anime convention as usual and came across a rather unpopulated eleven arts booth. I knew some previous titles, but i got into a rather engaging conversation with the person there. Said that some loved penguin highway, others loved liz and the blue bird and others a silent voice. However his personal was this maquia with the limited edition cover that didn't really stand out. After an hour of debating between the titles, I took the plunge for the limited edition blu-ray only on a recommendation. After popping the blu-ray in my ps4, I kinda sat in melancholy, read all the additional material and then listened to the soundtrack for the next days, weeks and months.
To this day I still haven't rewatched it, but it sat at the back of my mind. I don't know how to describe it, ever since I was a child instead of a superpower to control fire or water instead I've always thought why not time? The only thing I know is after that movie I've lost or gained something since that summer ago. Time brings people together and rips people apart? The basic answer to "do I like the movie?" is I love it but...
