Spraying My Rifle Multicam Arid

- Thanks for watching! The paint I was using was Rustoleum Camouflage in camo sand, earth brown, and army green. Then I used just classic brown from the same brand. The stencils are on Amazon but I would recommend buying a sticker pack instead if you want it to look more accurate.

sponges over stencils, you can even get them in dino shapes
Dino camo would go hard
Dinosaurs
@@ericbergfield6451 who said dinosaurs
+1 for sponges. Far better for control.
Well damn now I have to.
Well done. That final scene with the other Multicam stuff around it... Really shows that you nailed the color and application!
Thank you!! Means a lot
Haven't painted multicam in a while, but when I did, I used more colours as base paint, and then the stencils. Because multicam has areas of medium tan and a darker tan as a base. And then green for the biggest stencils, then brown for the medium sized ones and then light light tan for the smallest stencils.
But I can't argue with your end result. You got there and it looks very good next to the other items.
That’s a good idea, might have to try that in the future!
"you can block me or delete the app", that was funny!! A bold move to throw some spray paint on such a beauty. When you finished with the green, it totally needed more, you picked up on that and threw down the brown. Yo, that last shot on the table with the gear and actual arid multicam. Nailed it! Turned out great!
Preciate it dude! Glad that you enjoyed
Exactly the look I want! I’ve never painted a rifle so I’m super nervous to even try! The videos I’ve watched look super easy but I know I’ll over think it and end up with globs of paint everywhere, lol
Yeah this was my first time too. It’s surprisingly easy just know that if you mess up you can always redo it!
Damn you did an awesome job. I kid you not, the best part is when it starts to come off. It gives it that rugged look.
Thanks man, I appreciate it! Yeah I’m looking forward to the worn look
That turned out great, I don't see any reason to be disappointed. Matches your other gear extremely well, and like I say on every painting a rifle video: It's a heck of a lot better than glossy black.
Thank you!! I’m happy with it
Best rattle can paint job out there! Great work!
Dude, thank you!!
Thats easily the best rattle can job ive seen 👍🏾👍🏾
Thank you bro that means a lot
Thanks for the video.
MultiCam Arid is freaking insane to find gear in. Bout to paint my rifle arid as well. In AZ it's the perfect color for the environment.
Great job! I’m a mesh bag guy myself but the stencils worked pretty good. Not sold on that Army green though it looked neon on my gun. Good stuff and keep them coming.
Can’t beat the classic mesh bag look! Thanks for watching
James I agree, I was super disappointed in that green, going to repaint with something else when I get the time.
It’s definitely a little off from what I was going for. If you find a better flat green lmk!
@@ginosgear If you have a hobby lobby or other craft store, the model section usually has some dope military colors in small paint cans. They are usually pretty expensive but, they look sharp and with a coat of clear flat over the top it’s some of the best looking paint out there.
At first I didn’t think it was going to be that good, than i was impressed than after the brown i was like oh he fucked up and when i saw the final product i was really impressed. Really good work brother one of the best ones out here
I really appreciate that, thank you
It came out badass .!! And thanks for teaching me how to make my weapon look so sexy.
Hahah thanks
It turned out good, as long as your environment matches that color scheme 👍
Looks
Pretty damn good, if I didn’t know you already spray painted it. I would of thought the gun came like that.
Thank you bro!!
Did a good job with that. Matches fairly well. I think stencils are the way to go. I'll go checkout your build and comment for the algorithm. I know it helps me.
Dude, thanks! You’re the best
@@ginosgear hey also your thumbnail is a little blurry. Just wanted you to know in case it's not supposed to be that way.
Yeah that was intentional! Haha just wanted to force people to click on the video to see it!
@@ginosgear haha ok!
I’m so thankful I was able to get my bcm mk2 stripped upper. They’re super buff! And because I’m a southpaw the forward assist being moved forward helped my fingernail stay on my finger.
Love to hear it
are they finally selling them as individual components?
@@Followme556 I got mine as a stripped upper but that was a few years back.
That came out fantastic. Great job. If my first paint job comes out half as good I'll be thrilled.
Dang thank you!!
Balls bigger than most, looks clean
Hahah thank you!
Nice job!
One tip for using rattle cans... Keeping the spray close to 90 degrees instead of up or down will reduce splatter.
Good tip, thanks Ed!
Damn, couldn’t even see the rifle or gear, all i saw was the table! Total cloaked cover job! Awesome!
Thanks man I appreciate it!!
It comes out really well freehand with comes leaves to spray around and mesh bag for some depth.
Cleanest rifle paint job I’ve seen yet nice work
Thank you so much!
Great work!
Thanks!
I used actual brush from outside for mine instead of stencils. That’s a clean look you did there though 👌🏼
Yeah I’ve heard that works well! Just wanted to get more splotchy on this one.
@@ginosgear looks great man good luck on the channel also! Enjoy your content so far!
Means a lot dude I appreciate that!
Solid channel brotha. Nice work.
Preciate it man, means a lot 🤘🏼
Great job!
Thank you so much 🤘🏼
Paint job turned out great!
Thank you Mr. Ferrari 🤝
Nicely done
Preciate it !
Looks great .....1 of the best jobs I've seen ever. I always wonder how long will the paint last and also? I always wondered. Will the paint bleed into a person's skin and be absorbed with moisture?😅
Thank you so much! And so far the paint hasn’t really peeled off at all. With time I think it will wear for sure and yes I think skin contact and moisture sill rub it off
Bro… wow! Excellent video and final product. I’m not even a fan of that particular camo and I’m like… maybe I should paint my AR like that😂
Hahah do it !!
Very nice and cool 😎 too. I need to get some stencils and do one of mine in Multicam
Yeah it works alright huh!
Dude that's actually pretty spot on. I'ma copy this for sure!
Thank you 🤙🏼
Nice job. Especially for your first paint job
Thanks man!
That is a next level paint job.
Dude, thanks!
Interesting color scheme
Very interesting
Well done
Thank you!
Exellent job!
Thank you!!
BEAUTIFUL I MEAN IT !! 💙❤️🇺🇸
Thank you!!
I think that looks great. I think I would have put the laudrey bag mesh thing over it at the end and spayed black.
Thanks! Good idea
Very nice!!!
Thank you🤙🏼
Dam that looks professional!
Thanks Matthew I appreciate that man
That looks sick bro !!
Preciate it man!!
I just use veg. Random branches, leaves, and grass bundles from outside. Works for me.
Great idea for the natural look
Well done young man. Kudos.
I appreciate it!
I was gonna say less is more but, I was wrong. Nice Job!
Hahah at some point I was like screw it I’m gonna keep going til I like how it looks.
looks really good
Thanks Diego!!
It came out well👍🏿
Thanks Corey!
Nice one!!
Thank you!!
That’s sick af
You’re sick af 🤘🏼
Looks good. Wish I had the balls too try lol
Just send it !!
Looks great man, I need to buy myself some stencils.
Do it!
Looks good.
Thank you🤝
always hard to start the first paint.... but pays off. I myself so not like stencils that much... prefer decal. But really nice result!
Yeah stencils are not the best haha but thanks !
Love the paint and the channel.
Thank you, that means a lot
That turned out really nice, well done.
Thank you sir!
Good job dude love the way it turned out
Thanks so much!
As far as taping things, I personally always tape off the primary cheek rest on my stock. I found that face oils will gum up the paint and it gets all gooey and gross. I ended up scrapping off all that side with a razor blade.
I thought about that but we will see how it wears over time
Awesome rattle can job!
Thanks man!
You really did a nice job with that.
Thanks so much!!
Looks great! Missed your verse;(
Thanks!!
Damn that turned out well! Shit gone look dope af after she gets salty.
Haha thanks! Agreed
Nice job, turned out great 😃
Thanks!
Crushed it 🔥🔥
Thank!
I think you did a great job young man
Thank you sir!
Not bad at all. I was a little nervous there at the beginning.
Hahah thanks, I was nervous too
Came out great! Good job bro.
Thank you bro!
Wow that looks really good!
Thank you!
came out really nice
Thanks!
That looks great 👍🏼
Thank you !!
You're getting a like for the, "mom said you have muliticam at home" meme alone.
Hahah I knew someone would appreciate it!!
Looks identical to the rest of your gear!
Thanks man it came out alright!
Well Done!
Thanks Dayton!
I've done some MC rattle can jobs. Color matching is hard, but you can find lists of matching paint. Looks like you hit it reasonably close in that regard. However, I don't know about MC Arid, but MC has two gradients and you basically have to use vinyl stickers if you want to get as close to real MC as possible. This is due to the gradients. In short, painting MC true to form is a huge pain in the ass. The rifle looks good though. Close enough. I think my crowning achievement for MC paint jobs was a welding hood. The amount of time into it was insane and I wouldn't do it again. lol In fact, when I do my rifles I just use the 4 of the colors and a net. Basically gradients of the light tan and light green, then the net and darker brown and darker green, and a final light dusting of tan over the whole rifle to lighten it up. Works good and is so much more fast than wasting time laying out stickers. That said, I designed and cut my own vinyl stickers based off the blogs on actual MC. The whole process sucked. lol
I appreciate the insight! Yeah I realized getting a true MC Arid pattern was gonna be harder than I thought and not worth my time so just tried to get something close haha. The stickers come out really clean though
Dude, you fuckin nailed it
JESSE! you’re the dude
Looks fantastic 👌
Thanks 🤘🏼
I think it turned out great man!
Thanks bro!
Not gonna lie I wanna spray my ar just scared as shit to do so. Don’t wanna mess it up. But this good encouragement
Yeah dude I was scared too. Just gotta make sure you tape off good and like the colors you choose. You can always repaint later!
Looks great !!!!
Thank you !!
Tip for the pmags: Use a knife to cut out the tape instead, looks 10x better! :)
Yeah I have an exacto knife somewhere but couldn’t find it haha
Looks awesome!
Thanks Jeff!
Looks great !
Preciate it 🤘🏼
That looks badass af
Thanks man!!
Crazy good!
Thank you Alex!
i just pink and purple stripped my $399 AR and didnt record or timelapse it :( nice video!
That sounds awesome haha do you use any tape or stencils to do the stripe or just kinda free hand?
@@ginosgear I striped with frog tape hit it with pink then hit it with gold in it with pink speckles again with the mesh and it made this purple color so it's black stripes with pink and purple stripes
I just uploaded a video explaining thank youu telling my homie to sub to you too
Dude I’ll have to check it out!
Bada$$!!!
Thanks 🤘🏼
Where did the stencil come from?
Amazon! Here is the link Redleg Camo OCP 9"x12" 3 Piece Camo Stencil Kit Scorpion W2 Army Airbrush a.co/d/7jQXqYC
@@ginosgear Thanks!
came out real nice
Thanks dude🤘🏼

Dig it!
Thanks bro!
good job I'm doing mine in cerekote
Thank you!
Hey, if I don’t look directly at it, it looks amazing… 😂 lol jk brother. It looks good and probably better than I could do.
Definitely don’t look too closely haha
Nice, what multicam wrap on the handguard is that?
It’s gear aid!
Use Duplicolor from the auto parts house. Unlike crappy shaky can spray paint, Duplicolor is actually true fast-drying hard enamel. You’ll see.
I’ll check it out, thanks!
2:16 thought my webcam came on for a sec
Caught ya 😂
1:39 what song is this? it’s fantastic
Oh man I’ve used a lot of songs but I think I just looked up “no copyright synth wave music” 😂 sorry I can’t remember
I don't understand how anybody gets spray paint to not come off with even fingernail pressure. I have never had spray paint harden even with light coats, primer in the heat gun
The worn look is inevitable
where did you pick the stencils up from?
Amazon! Just search multicam stencils
Why not disassemble the gun before spray painting?
Requires more work and taping. I wanted a consistent camo throughout the gun
It’s a bit scary at first, but if you keep at it like you did, it generally turns out fine. You did really well. Besides, it’s not like you can make a mistake painting your AR, right? Just keep painting…
Facts! Thank hou
