My boyfriend and I were glued to the Television! Every episode was gripping entertainment! Not only does this series keep you thinking but it educates you on the possibilities the world is facing. We are so hoping there will be a second series!
Thanks for posting this.....it was very interesting. I've watched Messiah twice now, and I have to say, I love this actor, and I love the way he portrays his character. I love that the season ends with questions hanging rather than trying to wrap the plot up in a neat little package. This is a great drama with a very spiritual component. I saw an interview where Mehdi talks about how he prepared himself for this role, and he describes that the character became a part of his personality during the year he immersed himself into becoming this character. You can really tell that he made this character a part of himself. I wish him much success in his career, and I hope that we'll see a season 2 someday!

I agree in that I think he was the best actor for this particular role on Netflix, he really did such an amazing job with it. I totally believe had they given the role to someone else, I may not of become so hooked with this series, because I don't tend to usually go for films like this. My point exactly! Funny this as I see so many religious people condemning others if they choose to watch it, and they are not God to go an persecute others. My husband is Muslim, and I respect that he did not want to watch it, but in his case he just has no interests in movies like these to begin with. I'm Christian, but I'm not someone who has extremist beliefs obviously or I wouldn't even be with my husband. My husband knows I watched it, and did not judge me for it, because he also knows it's just a movie series.
I agree....the story is meant to be fiction based on historical facts and prophecies. Yet....the question left hanging is, how do each of us see the saga of the human race coming to an end. There is no definitive answer.....only conjecture. I believe this story, and other stories that will be told as time goes on will continue to leave us pondering that very question.

When I was watching the Messiah, I realized One thing, that I becoming very Still, specially when camera starts zooming on Mehdi. There is something very special about this movie. MAY ALL BEINGS, VISIBLE OR INVISIBLE BE HAPPY🌹
Though I'm from Belgium I'd had never heard of Mehdi before. He's from the French speaking side and I'm from the Dutch speaking side so that might be the reason but I was impressed with the quality of his acting. It's true that you can't find out much about him online. What you can find though is work he did before and there seems to be some very interesting quality stuff in there. It looks like he's a very spiritual, cultural and educated person that just because of this high profile part in this Netflix series is now hitting the limelight. I'm definitely going to check out his previous work it'll probably provide more value than trying to figure out what his favourite colour is ;-)

Mehdi was de perfect choice for this series. I enjoyed season 1 immensely! I am seriously hoping we won't have to wait too long for season 2 to come despite the negative commotion some people are making about these series. I find it refreshing and it kept me on the tip of the sofa the entire time.

Medhi’s acting performance is brilliant. He draws you in. You want to believe. Yet, I found myself picking him apart. Asking, why did the character do this, and why didn’t he do that? I don’t understand why people are so upset about this. I’d really love to see a second season, but with the negative controversy, they may not do a second season. That will be so disappointing.

I have become a big fan of this man and the series Messiah. Can't wait for the 2nd season just to see him act. Very well achieved the character. Amazingly charming.

He was great ,I mean he and the dictator of the film they did a good job , really Mahdi is not unknown actor in the middle east and most Muslims and Arabs especially Palestine don't have simpatico to him due to play many controversial roles ,political issues or religion issue .
