This was exactly what I was looking for. I have an aisle seat next month next to my wife, I hope i'll be able to sleep.
My husband and I plan to return back home to the USA in January 2024 from our trip. The flight will be from Istanbul to Dallas. I looked at several reviews and changed the seats from 11K and 11J to 11K and 12J. First, my husband likes window seat. Second, he had hip fracture last year. Though he is doing fine, but it would be hard for him to crawl over someone's flat bed seat when they are sleeping. And finally, I can't imagine someone crawl over me while I am sleeping. They wold scare heck out of me. So, we will raise the divider between passenger facing us (it would be weird to face someone during the flight) and deal with the need to access the aisle between ourselves. The only inconvenience I expect would be during the meal service. We will survive. I could change the airline, but really want to experience myself different arrangements.
I would fly the 747 Club World to DFW before Covid. From July the A380 takes over. I’ve not been on the 380 before so was pleased to see you demonstrated where the privacy screen button was located. It’s the little things that you can pick up in reviews like this. Thanks

The Hard product of the A350 is Better but Flying the A380 is always an experience!

It is a little disappointing when you compare it to the AA 777-200/300 ER; 787s business class seats. I think the lack a privacy along the walk aisle is concerning. If you have a window seat or the middle seat of the 2/3/2 setup it looks like you have some privacy.
Thats true! The Business Class onborad the Britsh A380 is really outdated.
I'm scheduled to fly from SFO-LHR in late April 2023. I'm wondering if they will have upgraded or swapped out the A380 by then? Any thoughts?
I do not think that they swap or upgrade their A380s until April
So I’m about to book my first a380 ticket from Chicago to London. I really wanna sit next to the window but not sure how I feel about flying sitting backwards, I’m not motion sick but idk might feel uncomfortable. This would be Club world of course

I have flown backwards one before on Qatar Airways QSuite. For me, I did not experienced a real difference between flying forwards or backwards.
But I think it different from person to person but I have never heared about anyone who felt uncomfortable.

had the misfortune to fly a few 747 with these seats. Absolutely awful and way to narrow for business. just booked to LA and have new suite on 777 outbound and then 380 overnight in one of those ridiculous seats

I don't know who Green lit such a terrible design layout. I'm sure BA would like to go back in time and can that decision.
