IMO, this is one of the best fights in Golden Wind. The context, the build up, the music, the animation, the fact that it’s villain v. villain (which we don’t see a lot of in the OG JoJo universe)
This is my favourite fight in part 5, i love Risotto so much the guy is tough as hell and highly intelligent with a very versatile stand and being the best stand user in the La Squadra(in my opinion White Album is the strongest stand from destructive power stand point)
Diavolo threw scalpels at buccarati's gang purposely so they'd think that it was the enemy who threw it at them. so yeah, it wasn't completely luck but it was Diavolo's big brain that saved him
Can we talk about the sheer mental fortitude you must have to fight and figure out on a fly things that you've never seen and ways to go around them, while taking such heavy damage as loss of limbs, excessive bloodloss, suffocation from iron depletion, being shot by a fucking machinegun, and all the pain associated with it? Like, the hardest pain I went through was when I broke my jaw, and man was I NOT in a presence of mind to engage in any fight whatsoever, let alone fight to the death such as this one.

I belive that metallica can do ALLOT of stuff. He can basicly manipulate iron at a molecular scale, he doesn’t only can create things from blood, he can do it from everywhere, he may also able to camuflage not only himself, but others. Also, he seems to be able to control those objects, maybe he can only manipulate the iron objects made by his stand, but he said he controls them magnetically, so maybe he can control any sort of iron, in small or big scale. So yes, it could be one of the dopest stands

One of the best fight of Jojo if not the best fight. So much characterization in such a small sequence. Risotto hidding in the shadows, attacking from afar like how he behave against Bruno's gang. A colony stand, he's deciding the moves of underlings under him, just like he did with the Squadra. Litteraly trying to bleed out his enemies. A stand that doesn't work well when outnumbered or alone, just like he now, alone. Dying because his team failed, or because he failed them. He ends up saying he's gonna kill the boss, the one thing Proscutto was claiming is the sin of a Hitman. The Jester may laugh, but the King will punish arrogance. The Boss on the other end, doesn't hide in the shadows. He doesn't need to. He's hidden in plain sight, master of his homeland. The court might be against him, but like a true king, he knows how to pit his enemies against themselves. He knows how to turn a bad situation into a good one, using Risotto's own weapons to defeat him. At first with the scissors, then with the scalpel, and finally with his lack of breath. You could defeat the King from the shadows, plotting your way to the top, however once cast into the light, the conspirator will fall. I also like how the medieval theme also extend to other players in the fight, namely Bruno and Abbachio. Bruno's stand has its knight design, emphasing his (former) alligience to the king. He's the one in the frontline, leading the fight. Abbachio's Moody Blues is a nun, and as such has a set of power really distinct from raw strength. He's a menace to the king, but not in the way a knight or crusader is. He needs to be dealt with before things go out of hand.
Fortune telling is a thing in Jojo anyways with or without stands, like how Zeppeli's teacher told him he would die violently or how a fortune teller in SBR predicts the winner of the race
Even in animation it’s hard To stomach puking out multiple single razor shaving blades. Anyone who’ve shaved with those old fashion razors know how extremely sharp they are, even just lightly touching it will peel a bit of skin off.
This fight really could've gone either way and is a testament to King Crimson not being completely unbeatable, even when ignoring Gold Experience Requiem.
That's the reason why King Crimson is my favourite main villain stand. It's not completely overpowered like The World where you don't have to think because your stand just annihilates everything for you. You have to actually plan and strategise to make King Crimson work and it has many weaknesses that you can exploit like how Risotto did in this fight or how Polnareff figured out how to measure how much time skipped by looking at the drops of blood, which makes defeating the stand feel like a puzzle you have to solve which is a lot more interesting in my opinion.
@@anonymous3012 Too bad Araki drops the ball by giving Giorno a nonsense Deus ex machina stand at the end. A far better ending would have been for the gangsters to beat King Crimson as a team using cleverness.
@@sophiaperennis2360 Yeah, there's no denying that GER was unsatisfactory and the fight was anticlimactic. I like the concept of King Crimson more than its execution in the final fight because up until then King Crimson was shown to not be invincible and we got some great fights with him like Bucciarati vs the Boss or King Crimson vs Metallica, both of which involved people outsmarting King Crimson instead of overpowering him.

I think Metallica is one of the scariest stands in all of jjba. To make things like razor blades and knifes come out of someone's body is terrifying.
