Great job reworking the "die die die" part. Always been the best part of the song and you managed to make it even better.
It would probably be a better idea to use the Live Shit vocals. The RTL James vocals are too high to equalize them to the Black Album.

despite all that, StateOfMercy does a good job of making the RTL vocals fit the mix.
@@Sk8rocka it's a great idea. But it works to make a RTL tone on Justice or Master, Black Album vocals are too low in comparison to RTL. I love this man work so far, but RTL vocals on Metallica just don't work for me.

I love these. My only critique would be that the intro feels maybe a little too slow, even by Black Album standards. And the bridge section could have been more thick with the ridiculously layered "wall of guitars" mix. But other than that, I love the "gunshot" snare and slower/pitch-corrected vocals. Great stuff.
My favorite Metallica tune. I was scared. But this totally grooved. Not the thrash tune I love, but a totally groovy (Black Album) interpretation! Rock in dude!

I think this highlights why Ride The Lightning is widely regarded as the greatest Metallica record.

Incredible nuance...the timing and chord placement is spot on. The drum and guitar arrangement variances are perfect...the extended intro..it's a perfect treatment and why I generally dislike the Black album...don't get me wrong there are some great times on it but I've always thought it was underwhelming compared to the previous albums
