Despite the "hate" between Red Star and Partizan, I see them as my brothers. I'll will always want to win against them but last week when both teams qualified for the knock-out stages of the europa league, I felt really proud for both teams.

You almost covered every intense derby in europe now. But there is still one missing, and that is Feyenoord ( my team) vs Ajax. Dispite the fact that the eurofan has been to ajax v feyenoord, the image of the 'klassieker' hasnt been done justice. Not only because most of the episode was about amsterdam and ksi, but especialy because you showed the Amsterdam side of the story, which isnt anywhere near the intensity of the game played in Rotterdam. There for, i highly reccomend you send Eli out to Rotterdam next season to visit 'De klassieker' played in Rotterdam, because overall the game means much more to the Feyenoord fans, who are seen as much more loyal and loud as the ajaxfans, and also for Feyenoord there is much more on the line every klassieker, because ajax wins more or less everyone of them, which is not always justice. I promise you, you wont be dissapointed.

Speaking as some one who studied architecture does anyone think the atmosphere of this derby can continue once the stadiums are either renovated or replaced. Do the stadiums kinda need to be outdated and a little rundown to keep that crazy energy. The running tracks at both stadiums also keep the fans further away from the game being played so they can release flares and smoke all through out the game with out bringing it to a halt constantly if the the stands were right up to the field. Any one have any ideas out there about how the stadiums could be design to make the derby a safer experience but keep the atmosphere? One of the things I think could be done is give both home and away fans large fan sections on either end of their stadiums, also I think you could separate the away supporters from the rest of the stadium by separating the stands; like a horse shoe for the home supporters and then give the away fans their own little section (but a large one).

Nop. I was in one game as younger, whole stand was in a thick smoke, you could only see bits of the field. We actually learnt we scored a goal by the erruption of shouts from other stands, and we celebrated just as if we saw it :)
Suppose one decides to go to this ultimate football experience. Is he better of going as neutral supporter (wearing none of the teams colors)? Are there even any seats, that are more or less neutral or safe? Or is it better to choose a team and sit with them? After the match remove the shirt or whatever team insignia, not to get attacked by other fans?
Sander Palu If you want to go, go neutral, and buy tickets for West stand. On the west stand people come with children, old people, couples, and supporters. There is always danger when coming to the stadium, but its not a big deal. If you ever attend Belgrade derby, have fun. Serbian football sucks, but the ultras are amazing :)
Sander Palu There is a very very slim chance you will be hurt at all, there hasn't been any incidents on the derby for who knows how many years back. Now vice.com, and HBO make a movie or some shit, and suddenly a problem arrised and a fight starts.
It's very simple, the official ultras color is black, grobari colour themselvs in black or white, so you wear black if you wanna go to either side. Nobody on the north side will say anything to you, people wear black there too.
So yeah just wear something black, and you shall be fine. :)
