CLASSROOM SETUP VLOG SERIES | ep.3 - starting to decorate, class stage, & decluttering!

- Episode 3 of the classroom setup vlog series is here! My classroom is starting to slowly look like a classroom! In this video, I finished up my classroom picture gallery using the boxwood better than paper and in love doesn't even describe how much I love it!! The better than paper and fairy lights I used are linked in my storefront below! I also can finally see the surface of my sink counter and cleared off my junk table which are both major accomplishments. Lastly, I put my classroom stage together and brought in some classroom decor that I had been in storage because of the pandemic!
The tutorial for the stage is also linked below! I will be taking a break from classroom setup while I finish moving home but I have lots of hauls and other great content coming your way!

I'm am continually amazed at the size of the classrooms across the country! Here in the Pacific Northwest the classrooms can be rather small depending on the school district and the year the school was built. I really like your color scheme, I am going with black and gold. Have an awesome school year!!

The fairy lights on the boxwood looks so good. I used small command clips to hold up my Christmas lights that are around my whiteboard and they hold up really nice. You should give them a try!
That's such a cool stage but with my luck I'd flip over it!!!

First time watching. Loving the setup and color scheme. You said your classroom is NOT big? It’s two (if not three) times larger than classrooms in my school (5th-8th grade, 24-30 students per classroom). Your classroom size is a definite blessing!

You might want to try sticky clips to hold your fairy lights in place on the back of the bookshelf.

Instead of tape, you could try stapling the lights so the wire is stuck between the two sides of the staple (if the bookshelf is wooden - I can't remember?) or if it's metal you could use magnetic hooks?
oooh or maybe on command hooks? like the little clear ones that they sell?

Command strips for lights.
How about the clear command hooks? They have the plastic ones and the metal ones. 🤷🏻♀️
That’s what I was thinking too… They have really small clear ones.
