Don’t know if y’all have done one before, but would love to see a what’s in the bag video from the crew when you’re all together again, always love seeing what people carry and why
D Rap is arguably the biggest hater of golf. Every podcast he had something negative to say about the game, whether it was ratings, golf course, "snooze-fest", liv/pga, etc. The game is as big as it ever has been, and TV ratings should not be the guage. Look at the sales numbers the manufacturers are putting up right now. People are playing golf now more than ever. Kids play basketball, football, baseball, soccer etc. not because the games are on TV, but because its FUN to play. Keep the game positive and more people will see it as a positive sport to play, thus will also grow the game.
The increasing irrelevance of Foreplay is in full swing. Horrific podcasts with pieces of the group, lost the guy who gave the most substance to the pod, TH-cam videos stale, viewed as the cringe group of TH-cam golf. Riggs referring to Trent and the fact that Trent has this platform and people just “have to listen” is hilarious. People can just, turn it off and not listen.. which your numbers already indicate has happened. They definitely have a choice of what they want to listen to. Humble yourselves
I can see why you feel correct, but you wildly underestimate how successful Fore Play currently is. Sure podcast industry is mature and is most likely steadily decreasing listeners , but they have a successful TH-cam brand, and this is an advertising and merchandise company at its core. Brings in a f ton of cash.
@@brandoncarpenter9681 I don’t disagree with any point you just made regarding them being a successful TH-cam brand to this point or being a cash cow for Barstool. I am saying it is apparent that they are fading with regard to TH-cam golf sphere relevance. Their numbers are not just down on podcasts, they’re down across the board on all videos. Frankie literally cries on this podcast that their videos don’t do better. That’s the type of entitlement that I’m referring to as being crazy out of this group. I think the Creator Classic situation speaks to my point pretty perfectly. These guys have become tone deaf to the circumstances
@@HarryThicccy Lets be honest. No one liked Dan Rap. His best guests were B listers who were trying out TH-cam for marketing dollars. He never fit with the group. He's a rich kid, went to Northwestern, and says things like "on my mama." Foreplay was at the top of the game, behind maybe GG before they hired DR. Put DR in the office in Chicago and he wouldn't last a week. They would make him into another Mintzy. Sure he brought insider info from the tour, but DR is a fringe guy. He shouldve been a regular guest on the pod and thats it. You have to admit that the youtube numbers were solid before DR joined, but I'm sure Frankie is the problem hah.
@@BuschyLight17 I hear you. To each their own on Danny Rap. I completely get where you are coming from with him being polar opposite and cringe. I more so mean they lost the guy that added structure to their podcasts talking about the latest news in golf, insider rumblings etc. which provided a great component of the pod that I appreciated. I never watched the Danny Rap specific videos they put out because they never hit and I think that’s because of exactly what you are saying above. At the end of the day, I don’t think Danny was/is the be all end all of Foreplay. Just think they need to come to grips with reality

@Gollyg69 They’re sponsored by taylormade
@@Actionstevo yeah no shit, just want to see what shafts they play, grips, what they carry
Refreshing when Frankie'a away
I's nice when 2 guys can have a conversation without yelling and interrupting every time someone else speaks.
All respect to Riggs and Trent. The goats. But need Frankie on every pod
@@ethanhopey4845 I'm fine with a Frank break every now and then
Iowa football lol

@@HarryThicccy Reality meaning what? That they're getting old or the fact that they made a terrible decision hiring DR?
Don’t even do a pod if Frankie isn’t available
Yes, what would a pod be if it didn't have constant interruption and over reactions? Just gotta have that
