Ngl, watched this because i was puzzled how someone could really use the HMG to full effect. Was not disappointed.

It's also pretty good against bots. But I think it could use a little buff, especially in magazine size.
@@madoqen magazine size seems to be its bane, increased magazine size can justify the recoil and long reload... need at least enough bullets to shoot a bile titans abdomen off from underneath.
@@madoqen I'd prefer a damage buff and less ammo fired requirement for the "Ahhhhhhhhh" vocie your character makes.
I feel so stupid to have never thought of bringing the supply backpack to compensate for the low ammo count of the weapon, now i really want to give it another go ! Kuddos !
supply backpack gives you various options could be playing
A dedicated ammo drum, possibly with the addition of a light stagger effect, would definitely be worth the extra stratagem slot.
WOW, that is rather impressive. The only wish that the machine gun had a backpack and the capacity was at least a 100 rounds.

I mean the ammo backpack is practically what you want.
Thr handheld gatling that's for sure coming eventually will have a backpack, and would make this heavy MG obsolete. So no they will never buff this heavy MG with a backpack, maybe a larger ammo count, but never a backpack.

Every weapon works, but some are just objectively better than others.
Still there is no real bad loadout, its a skill issue in most cases.
I love the Plas-2 Purifier, but I know why so many people think its weak.
Man it's always awesome to watch someone use your favorite weapons at the highest echelons of gameplay

Hmg is fun. Learning weakpoints on everything has really changed how i approach combat.

Yeah it has become a big part of my favourite loadout, ill take the scorcher as backup and 3 turrets with me and just rip constantly. I was using the lower fire rate but it really isnt necessary. Beast weapon!

@@sowl17 i just tried it, holy shit you make it look easy. Chargers are hard to deal with, but its a skill issue rather than a build issue. Do you use the default fire rate on the liberator and the hmg?
liberator couldn't change the fire rate as far as i know, the HMG was max fire rate
@@sowl17 i meant fire mode, as in auto, semi or burst. My bad.

I usually set them to Auto mode and max rpm

At 11:20, how do you throw the explosive barrel in the air ? I tried but dunno how to do it

How are you not getting shitloads of sway?? I can't use that thing for shit except in 1-2 round bursts.
I've played FPS genre games that have recoil mechanisms for a long. so, that helps me I guess.
@@sowl17 no way, your actual hit circle is not moving like mine does with that weapon at all. It's acting like a totally different weapon all together. Are you using the recoil armor? Anything? I'm newer to the game and I thought maybe you were using something to lessen the recoil I don't know about. I've never heard anyone say they can lower the amount of recoil a weapon has through sheer skill.

but the crouch and prone help lessen recoil. and actually, you can control the recoil by moving down your mouse.
@@sowl17 It doesn't always recoil straight up but ok lol. I'll just crouch more. Standing the thing is total ass no matter what you do.

oh I'm a SMG lover and I usually use the supply backpack, so I think Knight is the best for me, pummeler is also great. I enjoy it :)
The fire shotgun can just be spammed silly cause of the backpack. It can clear everything fairly easy when you run out of ammo on the HMG. It can kill a charger with one clip.

How do you make the recoil look non-existent without the armor perk?
always crouch or prone and never full-auto fire.
wish i could see how this would do on a bile spewer map, seems like that's where it shines.

Did you speed up the gameplay? I turned it down to 0.75 speed and it seems about normal lol

My grenade had already exploded on the floor. I guess his bumped into a hunter in the air. If you look closely, he's continuously throwing Impact Grenades lol

@@ricardoperez2793 the shell that was shot to the charger looked like it detonated on the charger. if u freeze the frame u can see another shell flying from the right side that hit and killed him. i'm wondering where that shell came from lol

Yea it's still not justify how bad this weapon is and no one use it. You need to tryhard and control your recoil just for this nonsense. You can basically call HMG Emplacement and it's 10x times better and has more ammo.
You can't even fast kill scout striders with it.
I appreciate your high skill gameplay, but this weapon is not fun and balanced at all
Anyone can play the game with any weapon they want. I never claimed my loadouts are better than the others, I just love trying various builds. :)
@@sowl17 sure they can, but let's be honest, you and me rarely see HMG support weapon. And it's not because it isn't meta or anything, it's just not fun to play with. Because this weapon is poorly balanced and has a lot of more worthy alternatives
