I came by Lalita Tripur Sundari sahastranaam booklet many years ago. I had never heard of this form of Devi before that. Without thinking much I began reading the names of Devi one by one. I didn’t understand the meaning but knew how to read. An immense feeling of love filled beauty came over me as I chanted the names. I still remember that feeling. It was just love towards the goddess. I am lucky universe blessed me with the opportunity to know about ma Lalita . And today once again through this video I am finding inspiration to explore more about her.

According to श्री हयग्रीव who is a part of Vishnu, Himself explains to Agastya that:
1000 names of Vishnu = 1 name of Shiva
1000 names of Shiva = 1 name of Lalithambika, which happens to be a part Her Sahasranama (a.k.a Rahasyanama) as it is that mysterious and yet powerful due to which Muni Agastya was ordered by श्री हयग्रीव to meditate on Her Sahasranama for 500 years.
