I got dengue fever in the Amazonas

Hey Guys, how is it going?
We arrived after 3 months and a day at the boarder to Peru and said goodbye to Brazil.
On the first day we also visited Leticia in Columbia to get out some cash.
I didn't feel well that day and so we went back to the hostel.
During the night I got a fever and my body felt without energy. During the night we also had a big storm and the electricity went out at the whole village named Santa Rosa.
In the morning Paula dragged me to the hospital on the island but without energy the hospital only gave me some medication, that could put an Elefant to sleep.
The next day we took the speedboat to Iquitos which was a personal hell for me because of the fever and muscle pains I had during the whole night.
In Iquitos I waited for 2 days more, before we went to see a doctor and boom I had the diagnosis Dengue fever and I knew nothing better to do than explore the city.
In total I was 11 days sick and didn't eat for 3 days straight.
I was super happy, when all of it was over.
Paula learned during this time a lot about bees in the hostel and even went to a bee farm.
