At 35:22 there was light grey blocks in the water, that’s clay that you use for brick. You could maybe use it for a fireplace or to switch up the material You use to build with

A way that you can get books is from finding a village and one of the buildings may contain some bookshelves and you can also find a stronghold library
Mabye put the sugarcane on sand? It makes it grow faster. Also use blast furnaces and smokers for more faster smelting and cooking. I also think a campfire would look nice
Bring a water bucket next time you go mining so you can put water down on top of lava to get rid of it instead of wasting cobble and plus it’s way easier and safe
One other thing you should do if you go off peaceful you should put like a wall and a door in the middle where u go down the ladder and on the path way because the monsters can follow you
How did you find a mountain range like that? Did it generate naturally or did you use generation options or something? That's unlike any mountain range I've seen in MC- looks like tall mountains jutting out of the water like you find in Asia!

Hey captain since you wanted to change your game off peaceful but didn't want to put any sound what you could do is record your facecam separately to your game file and then when you're editing mute the sound of the game recording file but not mute your facecam/mic sound.

i recommend taking a bucket of water everywhere especially when mining. gets rid of lava and helps you climb stuff if necessary

If you want a cool railing, use trapdoors, they actually look good as rails. Just put them on the block and open them upward.

In the stable you should add hay bales to make it like a stable
