Live in Colorado and picked up a cc 2023 Bronson with the XO drivetrain ….. AMAZING. Stable and the more rowdy the more fun the bike becomes.

Just ordered a 5010!
Sound good.. I was debating TB and 5010, but I think new 5010
As a 5010 and nomad (both v4) owner my take would be 5010 if you want to rip local loam trails, occasionally hit the skatepark or 4x track, bronson if you want a capable bike for all day rides and nomad if you want a freeride bike that still brings you back up the hill. All great bikes.
Any bike shop in the UK has a Bronson available?
Is R kit fine or should S kit better?

@@stephenkrause6059 no, but i don’t think it’s worth swapping frames to get. I had a specialized enduro before this with swat and I really liked it, but I like my gold bronson color and will have to do without the glovebox for now

Same. I’m on my 2nd Bronson and considering a 3rd. The only thing holding me back is that I’m just not impressed with the parts-to-price. Sram Code R’s for $8k CAD… f&ck off.
@@whiskyo Santa Cruz bikes are some of the most expensive for the parts spec out there. Frames and overall build and finish is fantastic- as good and anything else, but $$$$
Just got the new 5010 in the red color, looks great and feels great. Wen‘t from a Rocky Mountain Altitude with 160mm, down on 130mm, but seriously, i don‘t mind it at all.
Interesting to compare the Transition Patrol to the Bronson and Nomad

How would the nomad compare to the nukeproof giga 297? Is the giga worth considering?

Nomad is much better quality. I wouldn't go for Nukeproof

Can you confirm if the Bronson has the Glovebox? It is not shown on the web site. For the Nomad and the 5010 the Glovebox is shown. Maybe the web site is not up to date.
The two new colors 2023 models of the bronson have the glovebox- the gold and moss green colors (2022) that have been around for a while do not have the glovebox.

@@danielray1558 SC clearanced the 2022s or V4 Bronson's without the glovebox. Those were the buy (maybe there are some still available) as there were no other changes to that model other than that downtube insert (referred to as V4.1).

How well does the Bronson climb?
Absolutely fantastic climber. Probably better at climbing then my current 2018 bronson!! It's so light and fantastic on the downhills
