If you look in the video youll see the stop markers are on each of the lines preventing only east coast way and west coast way services to run. I was present for over an hour and no services ran between Preston park and Brighton ;-) Thanks for watching
Great video mate.have liked.that is one big derailment.there was a derailment at one of my local stations where northern rail 158 849 in Tour de France livery derailed in sheffield.once again a great video and I have liked.kind regards josh :)
Thanks Cliff :-) I was lucky to see the last it be put back on at 8.30am. There are some balfour Beatty rail cranes down south but dont think they lift trains. Matt
Oh dear, I'm very sorry to see the southern Eletrostar class 377 being derailed :-(. But very Interesting Video Matt :-).
Thanks Foxy, it happened yesterday afternoon

Foxy313 yes this was this morning. The train was still there at 8.30 so saw it getting back on track before college

The route was not blocked. I saw both the northbound and southbound tracks free of obstruction.

trainmania100 Yes, but what I'm trying to say is that trains could have passed the wreckage.
TSguy0100 ah okay yes I guess they could.
trainmania100 The power would have been turned off?
Ben Donaldson That is what happened ;-) the derail actually occurred right outside the building which supplies the surrounding area network with power
They’ve caused some confusion and delay.
Maybe they'll send Thomas the tank engine to the rescue maybe in sodor not in lovers walk Brighton

Joshua Rawson Thankyou Josh ;)
We can see how the trains carriages couple up together...
Interesting
That sounds horrifying
Wow never seen this before. Nice video
So driver error was the caused of this derailment
this happened at tonbridge too
Any ideas why it got derailed. Doesn’t look too serious as it’s at a siding in Brighton.
Probably ran a red light in the depot sidings and got purposely detailed to prevent it going into the path of the mainline
oops ! some-one stuffed up?
Derailed at perfect spot
Just need track refurb and reballast and get some nice shots of the engineering work from this spot
In the end they made it
Cool video
Hope this wasnt a passenger train and was an empty shuttle to its depot
It was coming from the depot to the station no passenger
@@trainmania100 Thats good! Hope the driver is ok
Well caught, Matt. It's easy for us, with our "hand from above" to rescue our trains. : )
Cliff.
