This is an older video but just in case, you mentioned rounding the pendent on a light bulb. I found if I cut the bottom out of a Pepsi can, cleaned and fold down the edges to keep you safe you can put your circles on the Pepsi can bottom and bake it on the can. Works great. That being said you probably already know this. Love your video's and thanks for sharing.

I am so excited, I am an artist an have worked with paints for years. I was looking for crafts to do for elderly people and came across polymer clay. I thought "why not make bracelets or necklaces?" I came across your videos and have bookmarked them ALL, you are amazing and now have got me addicted to making polymer jewelry. I was wondering the same? Is the Eileens the dimensional medium? In that case, if you “fill it up” as she says, it would literally fill up the pendant and dry as a dome?? Can I simply brush on my gloss medium? I’m a wire worker. NEVER used polymer clay. I was just trying to find a tutorial to make itty bitty teeny weeny beads, for a necklace and clay bowls cups etc as accessories for a Native American art piece I’m creating. (I don’t have time to use real Native American bead work) I thought I could create miniature seeds, beads and make into jewelry as the ancient Native Americans also did. I absolutely love her pendants and theyed be perfect as Native American pottery. Perhaps I should keep looking for a video for beginners. Lovely.... but I don’t even know how long to cook something the size of a seed bead.
Thanks so much for your tutorials. You make it all look so easy. Have learned the basic canes now and am making up all sorts of canes of my own by using scraps of canes! There seems no end to what you can do with a pattern by changing its shape and I am addicted!

Very nice! I learned several things - how to make the pendant and what to use to fill it. I also learned that I can take apart the clay roller that died... I replaced mine with an actual pasta machine that I got on sale, and it has worked better than all the others I tried. And since I work at a machine shop, I can get steel rods basically at cost (free sometimes, if it's scrap) and the steel helps keep the clay from getting too soft from my hot hands. Very nice tutorial!
I'm new to polymer clay -- complete noob! But I just love your videos. I subscribe to several different channels on this subject but you explain so well and with such a fun and relaxed personality. Ok. The Aileens Jewelry Pendant Gel is like a one part resin. Apply it just short of the margins. Then leave it on a very level surface for 48 hours to harden. The don't place anything in contact with it for at least a month.
Hi Teresa! Can you tell me what type of glaze/gloss you use for your jewelry? I like a really glossy shine but I find some glazes don't work well while others give you the high gloss but end up being sticky. Thanks so much for sharing!

Pandora, can you teach us how to make little dishes )(pinch pots? like 3" dishes to keep by the bedside for out meds or to put a jewelry gift in before wrapping a small gift. This way, the person gets a sweet dish that is functional as well, a place to put your earrings in before bed.. I'd suspect the double-double gloss by AIleen. I just LOVE your pendant idea! Hi, thanks for the great video! You mentioned that you can create a dome by sculpting the clay over a light bulb. Can you bake the bulb? How long is it safe to bake it for? Have you ever had one break from the heat change?

I'd like to learn how to make simple (for beginners) long & short beads with a bigger size hole (5mm-7mm hole) can you make a video on how to do these pls? I want to use them to put in my hair because I have dreadlocks and sometines beads can be expensive and I don't have a whole lot of money to spend all the time & I like making things anyway.

Brenda, the pendant is a scrap core with four slices on the front only. The back has plain copper and a slice of signature cane.
