    Hi,
Indeed you provided a 'simple' router circle Jig.
The idea is simpeler than most of the, but effective and quick build at low cost.
What I noticed is, how easy it turns and the possibility to grab it everywhere without being scared to hurt you.
I can't say it enough, it is as usual, a very good video, music, assembly and more.
Every week I am waiting for your video, thanks for sharing, see you next week.
    Keep it safe.
    Willy from Belgium.

    Just made one, works GREAT!
    Thanks!
One thing I did was to cut a 36" piece of all thread in half for ease of use cutting smaller circles but I bought a coupling nut so I can add the other 18" piece when I need a larger circle.
I'm already thinking I shoulda gone with 12" and 24"......

Another great video Christophe! I've been wanting to make circle cuts, but hate having to put a hole in my project.
To answer your question. I have a Ryobi router and table my Dad gave be, but I couldn't adjust the height. So I purchased a Bosch Colt 1.0mp router. I love it! The Ryobi was since fixed by my Dad , so now I have 2! Can't wait to use the Ryobi monster!
    Cheers! Have a great day!

That is a fantastic concept friend!!!!!
I have a couple different circle jigs but I have needed to make one that does not require a hole.
I have 2 routers. one is a nice 2.5hp Porter Cable with a fixed base and also a plunge, but I keep it mounted in my shopsmith table so I can use it as a jointer right now. I have it set up with a 2.5" Yonico bit and a simple fence system. I also have a very old Montgomery Wards router that is much lighter and I use it for hand held operations. It has a circle jig attachment that doesnt require a hole as it has a sharp little point that will embed into the material, but sometimes I cant use it that way.
Hope you are well in these tough times. Kevin

I have 4 routers! 2 of the cheap trim routers from Harbor Freight. One cordless from Ridgid. And another from Parkside (got it from Lidl) I have not used that one yet. Still in the box. But it is a plunge router that I got for less than $50. Pretty excited to see if it is a good deal. 😇😎

Salve, con questo jig è possibile fare anche cerchi piccoli? Qual'è il diametro minimo che può raggiungere? Grazie e complimenti,ho scoperto recentemente il canale ma ho trovato già alcuni jig molto interessanti.

    • @christofix
      @christofix  3 ปีที่แล้ว
