Kristina I love the whimsy of this card. It is so fresh and easy looking. Spontaneous and happy like when we were kids and drew for the fun of it..No inhibitions or anything just happy and free and fun...Thank you so much you have given me so many ideas...Bless you for that and this card. I still have 20 to make and I need to start now. LOL pat
I love the end result of this card. I got to this card via your 1st tree painting that didn't make the cut. I can only imagine how spectacular the 1st watercolour trees would have been as a card. Both watercolour painting are wonderful! But for me the 1st one had a whimsical magic, maybe because it was the 1st one, that the green trees, for me didn't. I just found your channel yesterday, I haven't watercoloured in a few years now, [life] but watching you has made me want to pull out my brushes. Thank u for inviting me in to your magical watercolour world!!!💜
thank you for sharing your talent with us. I get so many ideas from you and have learned so many tips and tricks from you. you are one of the first artists i started watching on you tube. I became a paper crafter making cards and mini albums.
As I watch you work I am just amazed at how fantastic your “simple” little ideas you integrate into your basic card. I have been stamping for a number of years and I am no where near your level of expertise! Hallmark is missing a superior card designer!!! You give me a quality to strive to achieve! Thanks so much for sharing!!!!!!
Oh, I love this card! Sometimes I put on TH-cam Art/craft videos while I am crafting and just let it continue to play....that is how I ended up with this video today. I was actually thinking it was a new one from this year but then couldn’t find it on your blog. I love that you don’t always use an A2 sized card and make it into the size you need....cuz I have always done that😊. Thanks for all of your great tips! I just got a set of handmade Watercolors that would be perfect for a project like this. Jodi
I know this is old but I just saw it and I HAD to tell you - this is one of my favorite cards you have ever done. I absolutely adore it. So cute. So simple. So beautiful. I might actually try this!
Beautiful and so creative. I just checked out your IG and I could sit and make cards with you all day. I made homemade cards one year for Christmas. It took me forever!
I love this card! And I love seeing your signature heart too. Every time my cards look like there's just something missing, I think of you and add a heart. Works every time.Hugs, Tracy
I love this card. I appreciate that you didn't start over when you noticed the bleeding. Too often when I mess something up, it ends up in the trash. I will be trying this one. Although, I may have to cut my tape. Doubt I'd get the thin tape in time to make my Christmas cards. Thanks so much for sharing your creativity and talents. You truly inspire me. You are my first go to place on TH-cam.
I love when things don't work out completely as planned (the seeping paint) and you don't cover it up or pretend it didn't happen! Makes me relate to you! LOL all of us crafters know things don't always go according to plan.
thank u thank u thank u sooooooo much for this.....lol.....I have been looking absolutely EVERYWHERE for a Christmas card idea or sketch that didn't require a certain stamp set or die. I have one christmas sentiment stamp and a small snowflake stamp. I've done tons with them but u wanted to find something else to do on my Christmas cards. thanks again.....hugs from KY.....Laura
your so good hun, those hand drawn bits on the trees almost looked stamped till you colored them. love your card designs so much, I have even started adding little hearts to my cards now as well, i think its adorable, my favorite things are hearts, flowers and butterflies. merry christmas luv, Diana xx
I love this idea to use masking tape for the shape of the trees. I've painted trees on a couple of Christmas cards using acrylic paint. I must try this with watercolour paint.
I was thinking what a great idea it was to use that big brush to feed paint to the small brush. So much easier than going back to the palette a million times.
this is simple, but so wonderful! I love all of the colors and bling that you used. I cant tell you how much i'm enjoying this years cards. thanks so much.
I love this card! I love the idea behind it. So cute, at least when you do it. Thanks so much for the beautiful cards. They are a feast for the eye and happiness for the soul.
Love it, love it, love it!!!!!! This is so much fun. I totally understand what you mean by messing with the paint too much. I have wrecked so many things because I couldn't just let the water do it's thing. By the way, that blueish green color is gorgeous! So pretty.
Kristina....I love this card and am going to give it a try. I have seen you make 5" x 7" cards before, which for us Canadians, is a "normal" size of card. I remember the first time I made an A2 card and I really thought it looked "funny" because it was not what I was used to. And of course, it is far more economical and more efficient using our 8.5" x 11" cardstock. However, after seeing this tutorial, I thought to myself wouldn't it be great if SSS came out with 5x7 notecards! I would love to know everyone else's thoughts on this because depending on the feedback, and if it's a product we all want (I really think it would be fun to have more space to create on), perhaps it is something art supply stores would consider. What do you think Kristina? Happy crafting everyone!
Thanks for the inspiration. I made three similar cards for my family. I used Tim Holtz distress inks. Turned out really cute. I appreciated all the tips. Merry Christmas
This actually turned out really cute and I like that it was so easy and laid back and you can not really make such big mistakes. Good job and thanks for sharing. And yeah the gold really made the card look a lot better.
This is a great card!! Can you do a video of the supplies that you just can't live without? Those things you would suggest to a new cardmaker to make the craft easier or more fun. It gets overwhelming, as a new crafter, to go out to buy supplies or watch these videos and see how many different supplies are used.
Oh, my goodness! This is THE most adorable Christmas card ever, Kristina! I LOVE the tree doodles! And, who would have thought of making trees with painter's tape? (Plus, I didn't know painter's tape comes in a 1/4" width. Will definitely be buying that!) Can't believe you've completed day 19 already. WAAAA! I don't want it to end. Lol! Thanks for another great video.
Hey Kristina, when you have time, could you make a video on the different kinds of watercolor paper you use and which one you think is the best to use? I've noticed that you use two different kinds and I don't know the difference between cold press or hot press. Thanks!!! :)
Hi Kristina, I Love love Love the Tree Card. It is so awesome. TFS. I also Love the Psychedelic Trees. Of Course I like all your other Cards also. Have a peaceful x-mas.

The trees, the black decorations and the glitter accent are perfection! I love your ingenuity is gorgeous

I’ve been binge watching your holiday card videos. I’ve really been enjoying them all. But this is my favorite. Thank you.
Beautiful and so creative. I just checked out your IG and I could sit and make cards with you all day. I made homemade cards one year for Christmas. It took me forever!

I love how ”fast and pretty easy” this card went fantastic with the small details here and there.
Love them. I always do more than I need

Thanks for the brilliant idea Kristina. Really good for crafters who dont have many stamps. More inspiration like this please!

I love this!! Personally I like the look of a hand written greeting vs the stamped.
Cheap Joe's Art Stuff! I live in Boone, NC. It made me so happy to see that brush. I love all of our cards, Kristina! You are so talented.
ashlyncara09 I love Cheap Joe’s. It was one of my favorite places to shop when I lived on Sugar Mtn.
Beautiful and simple enough to do with my grandkids! Great tip about the larger brush for details!

Love this card & how you created the shapes with tape, ingenious- and so pretty
I love this idea to use masking tape for the shape of the trees. I've painted trees on a couple of Christmas cards using acrylic paint. I must try this with watercolour paint.
Absolutely love this card! Everything about it is wonderful, the watercolor, the doodles and the sparkle.
I think this is my favourite card in the series this year. Maybe it's because I love green so much, but I also love the simplicity of it.
I was thinking what a great idea it was to use that big brush to feed paint to the small brush. So much easier than going back to the palette a million times.
this is simple, but so wonderful! I love all of the colors and bling that you used. I cant tell you how much i'm enjoying this years cards. thanks so much.
