It's still feels so weird that Pat retired. I hope that he is happier now at least. Even if he cannot internalize the message, his music has done great things for a lot of people.
I cut my wrists on April 1st 2019, but luckily went a little too high and was an unsuccessful fool, LoL. But yeah ever since then when I feel hopeless and depressed, I'll listen to you're heart is a muscle and it will give me hope.I heard that song saved many lives.. thank you, Pat the Bunny 😁👍
Its relieving to find out this man is not an anarcho communist anymore. I mean I think he makes really good music and there are good points, but also he was an anarcho communist which is really bad. He clearly has a had a really good hear for long time though and has always cared about freedom even though he was so wrong for so long.
Doesn't matter how long it's been. I feel like I will always owe Pat for so much of my transformation into a better human being. He's one of my few heros. Thanks for everything Pat. I hope to hear more from you some day, and if not, I understand. But I miss you, so much. Especially now, but the people you helped then will carry the torch for now
Pat is one of the most influential people in my life. No music has actually hit me as hard as his has. I can honestly say his lyrics are art and have helped me on my journey and helped me realise that i need to bring some stories for the worms. I wish i could have a beer with him. Honestly if i ever got a wish from a genie it would be a pub night with pat.
I met and talked with Pat for an hour after one of his shows post-sobriety- and it was one of those moments when you meet your heroes, and they’re everything you hoped they’d be and more. 🖤✨
This man is a true poet. I've followed your music for a few years Pat. You talk about maricopa County arizona and tucson in your music. That's where I'm from. Your music and poetry has inspired me, touched my soul and got me through some tough times.
pat if youre around or reading these your music has changed my life immensly. i hope youre doing good wherever you are. no matter how long i go without listening these songs will always hold a strong place in my heart
Pat the bunny is the best artist Iv heard. His music helped me get my life together. Without this man and his music I'd still be sleeping on a sleeping bag on the floor of my friends trailer only getting up to eat and to piss
nathan rocco same here brother but on a dirty piss stained mattress in an abandoned building in upstate N.Y. with a floor of garbage dirty needles, broken crack stems and broken dreams.
Me and some of my friends from the trailer live in an apartment together in Pittsburgh, I go to bike rides and sew patches onto people's jackets for a leather shop I work in, I still chain smoke and there's not a weekend I'm not drunk. I can't say my conscious is clean but my living and my body is.
My buddy got me into your music the night before he ended his life now everytime I listen to it it just makes me a little happy know this was one of the last things we listened to
that's really sad and really beautiful at the same time. it's good you carried that forward, i know plenty of people with those kinds of stories(myself included) that have songs they can never listen to again. take care, bro.
5 years later.. still love this man and his music. Always takes me back to a much worse time in my life. It doesn't hurt nearly as much when listening to Pat.
I like to look at the expressions on an artist's face just after they finish playing a song. Many of them will go into an awkward sort of 'well, there it was!' thing but Pat's the first guy I've seen seem so... genuine. As if he wasn't there to entertain and wait for applause. It's nice.
Miss you, Pat. Thanks for all you did to make me the person I am today. You always gave me hope when it felt like there wasn't any left. You made me feel like I wasn't crazy for wanting everyone to be comfortable and happy, and for holding on to hope despite the struggle. I hope you have some idea of how transformative you were to the people that listened to you.
Tom Jaeger he is the nicest person ever. I met him at a show and we shook hands and hugged and talked about dungeons and dragons for a few minutes. definitely in the top 5 best moments of my life
Brandon Simmons No, he just retired. His politics weren't in line with his fans and songs anymore, and like the noble person he is he didn't wan't to be a poser for the sake of money and currently donates all the profits from his past music.
Even though I'm not accustomed to using English and living in far from the U.S, I know what's that meaning in lyrics. So humanistic, I love Pat's thoughts and perceptions it always pull my heartstrings. Such a sad song..I hope I find some guys to sing this song in this place.
Hope you’ve found peace Pat! Idc if you ever write another song whatever. I am just gratefulness for all the music and songs we still have to keep ppl like myself going in times that try the soul. Thanks 🙏🏽
This will always be one of my favourite pat the bunny songs. This man helped me threw so much. Not a day goes by that I don’t need his words. Thank you pat. I really hope you found happiness

I love how the most replayed part of the song is the beginning 💕 I mean solid guitar intro but I can't help but think that people are finishing the song and starting it over. I know I do!
I've lost so many people to murder, suicide, one to the cops, many to the joint and far more than all that combined to the bottle and especially the needle. This time of year it hits especially hard cause so many passed around this time or just before and every winter was just a little colder and a little harder without em. I'm sober, outta the street life and haven't travelled in a while. But Pat's life and music has always had mad parallels between my, despite our very different origins and circumstances around us coming to anarchism, dope and punk with him being a self-described middle class kid with a solid family and me being a ghetto bastard in the mix since I could walk, so it's always been a sound track of my life. Some more than others, depending on the time. He may be on a different path to a different place now but this shit will always be a part of my life and thousands of others like me. Can't say it "saved me" like some can, but it definitely made me feel less alone in everything I've been through and watched others ho through. I don't even really know what I'm trying to say to be honest lol. I just appreciate the man telling his story and making mine a little better for it. There's a lot here that sounds like it's about me and my friends, family and acquaintances, even if many are mad different and don't even the music, politics or whatever. It's a rare but important thing. ✊👊✌♥A///E
Pat The Bunny...you're friend Dallas turned me on to you're music about a month ago. What can I say...I now listen to you everyday. I am so glad he sent me the links to you! It was just what I needed, I love it!
No one needs to tell me how to ggget down, but you got me back up Pat, instead of the meth and heroin, I'm triggered every fucking day dude and your music is the only thing keeping me in the 1% margin. Thank you for helping me understand life is for living.
How else would one create a genuine masterpiece? Copy it? They're all made up, the best of the best become legends and the rest of them just fade away into obscurity
I am constantly amazed by your poetry. This about being at a rehab in Tucson arizona right? I lived in the area and always hoped I'd hear about a show but never did. We all think about you Pat. We all feel the same hurt and hope you're out there in the world thriving and putting it into your music.
+Emily T He's a genius. Check out everything he's ever released, I can honestly only think of one album he's done that's not that good (Anarchy Means I Hate You). Even that one is alright.
+Fanta666 right on bro! &I have been Checking out his other stuff. I recently moved from Phoenix to Colorado Springs to get clean so his stuffs been pulling me through, man.. I'm just pissed I had to move away to find him
For him to reply honestly doesn't surprise me.. Watching him do So Lonesome I Could Cry w/ Fistful of Vinyl at the end he said something that made me realize, "wow! This dudes down to earth!". Man. I almost forgot how much music does for healing one's soul!
Just realised on this listen, that 'returning to the anarchism of the worms, without god or masters' could also be interpreted as not wanting to die anymore.
pretzelguy1 I've been waiting for someone to ask this. The answer is complicated. Well, not so much complicated as it is "no." The reason is complicated however. Well, not so much complicated as it is "we forgot to turn it on."

Rest in Privacy, Pat. We love you. thank you for everything you've done.
That's a nice phrase!
It's still feels so weird that Pat retired. I hope that he is happier now at least.
Even if he cannot internalize the message, his music has done great things for a lot of people.
I do hope he is well cause youre 100% right
Yes! I really hope he found his peace and happiness, because this man and his music saved my life on multiple occasions.
I think his retirement is his internalization of the message
