Nate Bargatze Stand-Up
/ fallontonight
He’s one of those people that can make anything sound funny with the way he tells it. Just a natural storyteller.
His delivery is one of the best ones out there. Love it.
djcprod facts
I was going to say that but then you said it so I don’t think I need to say it too so we’re just going to let it go at you saying it and getting both our points across without me having to say it too
I read this in Nate Bargatze's voice
djcprod Agreed. His stuff on Spotify is gold. He's my favorite comedian
This guy is hilarious! I love his delivery and he somehow actually made me invested in a story about a mountain and a dead horse...
Evan Belcher man he really is super funny
Yes, I was so emotionally involved, and relieved to discover the horse was only sleeping.
I live on the road that takes you to Mt Rainier, I’ve seen this bit many times, and I still have to watch it. Again. It literally never gets old😁😁😁
He beat a dead horse for 5 minutes
Private Mountain**
Nate is one of the most under appreciated stand ups around. So good!
100% agree. It's a shame Netflix only gave him a 30 minute spot on a collaboritve stand-up special when this guy deserves his own dedicated hour every year.
Brandon Smith I totally agree. I’ve been telling people about him for years.
How can someone be the “most” “under” appreciated? Sounds like you appreciate him. He’s appearing here on a nationally televised Major TV program. I’m here because someone suggested I look him up. If he is one of the most under appreciated stand ups, who are the least under appreciated stand ups?
Do you think it’s possible the you are underrating his under appreciatedness?
How far under his appropriate level of appreciation would you tell Nate that he is? Do you think he would appreciate that?
@@MSWSB You funny!
He seems far too much appreciated. He’s atrocious.
I've seen Nate live 3 times. The second time he told this story. My wife and I couldn't breathe from laughing so hard.
Super jealous! If I ever have the chance to see him live, I will definitely take it!
@@simonahendrix1812 Just saw him live last night. My wife and I were dying the entire time
@@simonahendrix1812
Saw him live 2 weeks ago (Be funny tour)
Go see him if possible, absolutely hilarious. Can’t believe he had that much new material after Hello World. Phenomenal show!
I lost it at "I would be shocked if we don't touch that dead horse"
I like the part where he says,” we’re getting a divorce, we hate each other but bring your truck though!” Lol
Nates so funny. It's unreal. He's the clean comedy 🐐
The funniest part of this entire bit is that he knew the horse was alive before he started the bit, yet still went several layers down on the dead horse joke. He was actually beating a dead horse, and in this case the dead horse was a joke about a dead horse.
About a not so dead horse.
😂😂😂
After seeing him in The Standups I realized I would literally watch this guy do anything. Subtle genius. He and Ryan Hamilton are my favorite comics working today.
sahib5 Yes! Ryan Hamilton also fantastic. I’d agree they are some of the best new blood out there.
I think he understands modern comedy as well as anyone. He shows how you can still make humorous observations about things that don't make sense to you by framing it through your own perceptions and biases
Hammock? Am I saying that right? Maybe it’s Hammot?
dccrocke nate has been around for years and years
🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻 AGREED! I only discovered him on TH-cam yesterday and I have done nothing since then but watch his videos of stand up lol 😝 👍🏻
The part about lying to your friends to get them to help had me rolling 😂
“…bring your truck, though..”
Contrary to his entire character that he plays up, he’s a genius
He's in my top five right now.
Lol
Wow, Munky. You literally have no idea what you are talking about. ☠️🍑
Its not contrary to anything...
Yep
🤣😂🤣😂 Hello folks!
Now you're gonna say that the diabetes isn't real either?!? 😘
I love this skit. I have horses and my heart stops whenever I see them lying down. It just does.
Mt. Rainier: everyone's pretty cocky on the way down
I’m 75 years old…
Maybe that’s why you didn’t hear the question I asked.
Can’t rave about his delivery enough, one of the most well put together stand up comedians in some time. Keep it up Nate
His sarcasm is very sweet and full of humility. Such a great comedian.
This guy's the real deal. I'm so glad he's getting more recognition now.
One of the best comics out there, and he doesn't have to be raunchy or filthy or vile
love his deadpan delivery. I like comics like him who sound like they're just having a conversation rather than telling sensationalized and formulated jokes. Obviously Nate writes his stuff but his delivery makes it seem like he doesnt
Glad he is starting to get the recognition he deserves. His starbucks joke alone is one of the funniest things I have ever heard!
Coffee with cream
Milk and ice is my new go to Starbucks order.
“Somebody owns it”. That’s funny. Good stuff
Fallon cracking up in the background is the best! Nate is one dude I’d just love to hang out with for an evening just listening to him tell stories. He’s such a natural!
I keep coming back to this.. this single-handedly has saved me from 2020
Have you seen his full hour stand up on Netflix? He goes even longer on the horse joke. Also next week he has a new special coming out as well.
Me too!
I love this man. Such an underrated comedian. Him and Mark Normand are both just fantastic.
Haut Strange i totally agree
Gary Gulman!
Everyone on TH-cam thinks everything is “underrated.”
He and Mark Normand.
@@daytonasayswhat9333 underrated comment
"I didn't say divorce. I said dead horse."
Oh my gawd! 😂😂🤣
I think he's ryming intentionally oftentimes
Hilarious
@@낮말새상현 he's sooo funny
Lol that's super clever
Always amazing delivery. Nate is one of my favorite comics...
His side track stories are the best lol we all know someone who talks like this and tells 10 sub-stories trying to finish the 1st one.
Haha for real. It was juuuust long enough for you to forget about how the story started, then he hits you with "at this point, uhh we're basically at Mt Rainier."
Just saw Nate Bargatze at the Improv. All new material and he KILLED.
When some comedians tell a story about something that happened to them you can tell that they either made it up or exaggerated a lot to make it funny. With Nate he tells you an everyday story that actually happened to him and makes it's so entertaining and funny with his humor and storytelling ability. He's really great at what he does.
Damn this dude's a genius! (the last bit took everything to a next level)
So glad I discovered this guy ... He's great ... Love his style ... Can't understand why he isn't more mainstream ... He's better than 99% of the comics out there ... Would love to see him live ...
Being able to deliver the material while keeping a straight face is almost impossible but Nate does it!
This is one of my favorite routines from Nate because it exemplifies everything that's great about him. He basically did 5 minutes about nothing, and it was all cohesive, and completely hilarious.
This guy is good without having to swear all the time.
Fuck yeah he is
Brian Regan is pretty good too, he doesn't swear.
Um, yeah. He's on network TV. No cursing allowed.
@@innervisions1828 he’s a clean comic overall tho
He doesn’t swear in his comedy.
This guy is hilarious, saw him on Netflix, I’d watch his act anywhere, fantastic 😂😂😂😂😂👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Nate Bargatze is my favorite comedian right now. Freaking kills every time.
Wow he kinda went all in with that dead horse lol
sleeping horse*
you can't beat it
really beat that dead horse to death
This guy has gotten reeeally good at his craft. I wouldn't be surprised if he was the next big thing in comedy.
He is
This was great, I remember being in the audience for it!!
I love his comedy so much. Maybe my favorite comedian.
Man he kept going on with that joke. It’s like he was beating a dead horse.
😂 Stop! Get outta here! Now!
Ba dum tss
😂😂😂😂😂😂
nate is so funny we need more of him !!
March 18!
One of the best 5 minutes of comedy I’ve watched 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
He's one of my favorite comics. Brilliant delivery...
Yes! One of my favorite comics. Two thumbs Bargatze, the crocodile story, and Cecil the lion are a few of my favorites. He also reminds me of a precocious young boy for some reason.
One of my favorite stories 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
He has the best timing ever!
Nate is definitely one of the best! So funny! Thank you for spreading such good humor and keeping us smiling! -Hon
I've loved Nates stand up comedy the years. Ever since I saw his special on comedy Central one night back in high school. I just thought that it was so damn brilliant! I'm sad that I don't seem to see him being that active anymore though now days. I just really don't hear too much about him. Which sucks, truly, I mean he was a GREAT comic.
Master of the unfinished thought.
We're gonna let it grow and come down on it's own " 😂🤣😂
This is the Mt. Rainier of stand up. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Still my favorite Nate joke. I like to listen to it every so often!
One of the best comics out there. The evolution of this story is brilliant... :)
He cracks me up. Will automatically tune in when i see him.
One of late nights top comedic sets💯
Having to deliver all those insanely funny lines without rolling on the floor laughing your ass off is a miracle
Just saw Nate not too long ago. He was hilarious! One of my new favorites after that.
Superb . Nate's the best.
I got to see him do this joke when he was firsr testing it out right after The Standups and I cried laughing at the horse bit and then my girlfriend got to meet him because he got a guest pass at the gym she worked at. My favorite comedian out there right now
One of my favorite comedians of all time
I noticed his use of the words "and" and "so" in his standup. it actually adds to it a lot
I love this guy! I was starting to think, man he's spending a little too much time on the horse thing, but then it paid off at the end
he was beating a dead horse
This dead horse bit in his special, made me howl laughing 😂😂😂 It was superb!!!❤❤❤
Can’t explain it, but I find something about his voice very calming and of course he is hilarious.
I love this guy. I hope he gets like 10 HBO specials.
Netflix has him locked down.
HBO? Eww
God I love this guy. The new material is excellent.
Absolutely love this guy. His new special is fn hilarious. 😎👍
Love Nate!
The "it's not a free mountain, someone owns it" line is so funny.
Great horse joke! Here’s my 4 seconds of research:
Horses can sleep both standing up and lying down. They can doze and enter light sleep while standing, an adaptation from life as a prey animal in the wild. ... Horses may spend anywhere from four to fifteen hours a day in standing rest, and from a few minutes to several hours lying down.
that was unique.
Aaron Paul's voice with a country accent 😂
I love Nate so much
I caught the show but I had to see this set again! Sweet
Lol this my favorite of his that I’ve seen
This guy needs to make another special. GET ON IT!
We’re seeing him for the first time in November. It’s going to be a long wait but I can’t wait lol
It's wild how much weight he's lost, looking good Nate! Set was kind of sleepy, but he's got great delivery.
This got exponentially funnier as time went on!
This crowd suuuuuucks Nate is the man, dude is hilarious
I Love Nate, he is sooooo dry & very funny, I luv it :) I really wish Netflix would put all of his gigs on ...
Love you Nate!
My friend Tom Ryan sent me your clip! So great! I am a big fan!!
This is the best day of my god damned life.
The glow up! 😍
Got so excited when I saw Nate doin' Fallon again!!
I hope Nate comes out with a new album soon. He is my current favorite stand up.
He's involved in a sitcom pilot right now based on his comedy for ABC -- Hope it doesn't ruin him. Actually maybe I do. He's brilliant.
I love his tone and demeanor very funny
I went on a YMCA Student Programs retreat in the Appalachians when I was in college. I was riding shotgun in the pickup of another volunteer whom I did not know very well. Shortly before we arrived, I looked over to see two horses in a pasture getting it on. I’d never seen that before. Awkward, but strangely fascinating and entertaining, like this dead horse story. I like. And I did get the “beating a dead horse” implication. I just wanted to share my horseplay story.
He's amazingly.. pleasant to watch. I need hours of this, where are his specials?
You’ll like this comic. It’s like if a guy went to Mt. Rainier and was a Tolkien expert
So I thought of you yesterday while driving down Route 2 in Vermont. A horse was laid out in a yard next to a standing up one. I laughed
I smell a netflix special up and coming
are you like a prophet or something? this bit is in it!
How the fuck you know that? You got any tips on stocks?
Another one coming March 18
The horse story is a bit long, but I love it because it's like how my mind works, too. I see a random, slightly odd thing and my mind takes off down a rabbit hole, extrapolating "what ifs" at the speed of sound. Then I come back to real life suddenly, like I just came out of a trance, to find that I've driven 30 minutes to work or someplace and the last thing I remember was putting on my seatbelt. 🤪
one of my favorite comedians!
Had this happen. My gelding was struck by lightning. Neighbor drove his bulldozer over to the pasture, dug a big hole, nudged the deceased horse in, and covered it with dirt. Sometimes, that's the neighborly thing to do. And he was a good horse. Gone too soon.
My new favorite comedian.
Just saw him live in Tallahassee and he referenced this joke but my husband wasn’t familiar. I laugh so flippin hard at “I’d be shocked if we didn’t touch that dead horse”.
I'm liking this Nate guy.
His delivery is genius
I love Nate!
SNL gets me here!❤
