The size is perfect and you can go anywhere a full size and more. Congrats man and as far as upgrades I pretty much upgraded the entire lights front to back with led. And you're truck can tow up to 3,500 to 7,000

Looks great! I just purchased a used 2016 Chevy Colorado LT a week ago. So far I love it! Other than mine being an extended cab with tonneau truck cap, not too many differences from the 2021 model.
We are saving up for a truck and the Colorado is at the top of the list. They are gorgeous. I believe your truck with the V6 can to 7000 pounds though! They scooped out the front bumper for 2021 as well which should give better ground clearance than last year's Colorado.
Yeah I just gotta ditch the air dam and I'll be more offroad capable. I love this thing and the new ones are available with a ton of options and in my opinion very fairly priced.
I don't like the Silerados since they've made them so HUGE. It's hard to drive and harder to park. I wanted the smaller truck, so this is perfect... of course, I'm in 2022, but I am thrilled with my purchase, too. Ironically, I traded in my Impala, which I loved for the giant trunk and it was so comfortable.

Gonna order one this month perhaps a week from now, getting hte z71 crush orange, safety package and a few other bells and whistles, bed liner, black leather seats, and an assist bar not because I am in bad shape but I got young kids so more to help them and my wife, oh and a soft rollup for the back. It' snot the top of the luxery line but for it's price which is wawy cheaper than the other midsize trucks or full I'm happy with it, did test drive it and it drives like a freaking car very quiet and smooth. I do wish they would have made the interior a tad bit more fancy and quality, the gray color makes it look fisher price cheap though so the black leather interior is a much better look. This is just my work vehicle to replace my decade old chevy cruze which has been amazing not once have I had to take it to the dealership or at a shop for anything other than a broken ball pin that allows the side windows to rise and lower. Because we wait till this november getting a much better deal for the trade in and rebate by a much more than when we looked at this a few months back so glad I was patient and waited lol

I absolutely love the redesign on these. Always thought the front end of the previous generation looked strange. Have driven one and that V6 was way peppier than I expected. Way better on road than the last Tacoma I drove.
I went to look at the Colorado Z 71 and I compared it with the Toyota Tacoma TRD sport. The Colorado was really outdated compared to the Tacoma. The Colorado did not have projector headlights, it did not have lane Blindspot monitoring on the mirrors, it did not have exterior door handle sensors to unlock and lock the doors, no push start button and it’s a turn key ignition, the driver seat doesn’t have a power button to recline the seat and you have to pull a plastic lever, no side mirror blinkers for oncoming traffic,, The dash clusters or gauges were outdated and old compared to the Tacoma’s refined gauges, The stereo system speakers weren’t as clear and sound quality was not good compared to the Tacoma‘s sound system and The cell phone wireless charging pad was small and it couldn’t fit my cell phone and the Tacoma charging pad was big and it can fit any cell phone. There was just too many things that the Tacoma had better than the Colorado. The Tacoma felt more solid and handled better. Sorry but I’m giving you my honest advice on what I observed by comparing both trucks. I bought a Tacoma.
I don't mind the interior. It's more utility driven and that's what I'm about. I don't need anything fancy as per I'm just going to ruin it anyway hahah. The leaf springs are fine but can be easily upgraded so that doesn't bother me either. Very common practice in trucks like these.

No i didn't. At least in person. I saw them online but at the dealership I only looked at the crew cab because that's what I wanted. So far I have literally nothing I'm not happy with, for my purposes it's perfect!
congratulation man, i have the same black one and i live in Canada .Great in snow. i removed the airdam it gave me more space in the snow , i put led lights inside the 6.2' box, it is already prewired, you can find the plug behind the left tail lights which i replaced them with led lights . i suggest you to install the bug deflector (the original one) and add the electronic digital access keypad...Good luck ^
This will be my first truck myself getting the bells and whistles, but mostly I just finally want a 4 wheel drive vehicle that can get me through tough winter conditions, I've been forced to be an expert on driving cars on snowy slick conditions, not once have I gotten stuck but I dont even want to have to worry about snow just gotta remember to put in sand or something in the trunk otherwise trucks can be worse than cars lol

Out the door it was 34 and and I'm just a chevy guy I think their trucks are the most iconic trucks and they're super common and have a ton of parts availability. Just a classic American brand!

I love my 2wd 2016 colorado. I suggest getting truck bed lights. Midwest overland industries has a slick low profile winch mount that I want to get.
It has a pretty decent truck bed light already on it but yeah I'll definitely be upgrading a bunch of stuff on it over time!
