Ingrid that was beautiful!!!!!! You should visit us on Long Island!!! Take the LIRR!!!! I will give you a tour!!!! This really almost made me cry, NY is my home!!!
I went to N.Y about a year ago to visit my brother. It was shocking how different I felt the city after 9 years, we went to grab dinner, walk around and reminisce about old times. My brother went back to have a nap, so I went to Time Square at 11:00 pm, with my iphone playing New York Groove (Kiss version) and just looked around. I shed a couple of tears, I forgot how much I love the big apple, I shared the joys, I shared the tragedies, and I just experienced New York. I'm moving back in a couple of months, and I'll be back in The city that never sleeps for good. I'm back.
The Joker that was great. From my school I have a skyline of Manhattan and it's my dream to live there one day. If you're there already, please get me informed on how everyday life is there!
missglamorazzi Thank you so much for this video! I just moved to NYC a few months ago and love it so much but I have recently been surrounded by some very negative people who hate this city and can't see how hopeful and inspiring it is. I needed this boost of confidence and a reminder that I am exactly where I want to be. Glad you're enjoying it too and thanks again! God bless :)
I'm on Long Island and work in NYC but even though the city is only a 45 min train ride away my dream is to live there and have the whole living in NYC experience. Its the same with me though every time I mention it to people they're only negative about it crushing my dreams :( I hate suburbia!
oh my god ingrid this video was absolutely breath taking, im so happy that you're exploring new york city, i hope i can meet you while you're here, (i live close!) enjoy your stay beautiful!
OMG, you captured most of the things I love about the City. That's what us Jersey folks call NYC. I love the museums too and seeing the old buildings with all their beautiful details, they don't make them like that anymore.
Ahh I was so excited to watch this video as I just got back from NYC today! 🗽🌃✈️ You did such an amazing job on this video, Ingrid! So thoughtful with such poetic words ☺️ Thanks for sharing your inspo with us! 😘
The type of the voiceover early made me think of Michelle Phan. Loved this video, you did such a great job editing, I can see a lot of work went into this!
After living in NY all my life, I moved to TX a couple of years ago and this video made me so emotional and happy, thank you thank you for posting this.
I love New York! But no Rockefeller Plaza, Times Square, Met Museum, Lincoln Center, Grand Central Terminal??? There's so much to explore and every time I go there it's always an adventure and I always discover something new.
That's all the typical stuff to do. No matter what travel sights you look at or tour books you buy those will all be in the top 10 without a doubt. The things she talked about are less popular and she probably just wanted to give her insight of the city.

YOU HAVE OUTDONE YOURSELF WITH THIS VIDEO! (CAPS NEEDED)
I loved this video so much Ingrid! This past summer I was able to spend a few days living in the city with my friend and it was the best few days of my life! I live in the suburbs of New York, but I really want to go to college and maybe live in the city one day! This video just sparked my love for the city even more! Love you!
New York is the most beautiful place in the world. No doubt in my mind about it. I've been there, and it's true what they say, it's magical. I enjoyed your video so much. I miss this city. I'm gonna go back there though, nothing's gonna stop me!
However, I can't believe you didn't include Times Square or the Empire State Building or the Chryssler building, or the classic NY steakhouses/diners or Bergdorf's. Or The Met or the MoMA or Guggenheim. How can you not include The Met????
I love NYC so much! I am actually moving there next month and will be doing vlogs & such about my move and experience if you want to check out my channel
Katie Dunn I understand, but since she mentions the things she LOVES about NY (not just things to do or see in NY - where it would make sense for her not to feature the obvious stuff) I was kinda surprised that she didn't include these.
so proud to see my city and it's beauty. Part about the freedom tower was my fave. Your words were so honest and true. That tower is the definition of us
Not gonna lie, before seeing this I had no desire whatsoever to go to NYC. I'm a small town girl and cities make me miserable, but this was beautiful and sincerely made me want to visit as soon as possible!
I live 20 minutes from NYC and go slightly often. I want you to realize she makes the city seem so wonderful and glamorous. When in reality it's not so perfect hustle and bustle more like pushing shoving and some smelly people. I don't want to dwell on the negotiates but please don't think NYC is like this.
Julia Tighe Unfortunately its because she's a tourist and isn't actually from NYC so , just like all tourist, they think NYC is "perfect," "cute," a "gem" but when you live here its like blah lol
If I'm in New York and I want prepackaged thawed out nasty ass Olive Garden I'm going to eat it and that in no way effects you. Get off your elitist high horse. What other people eat doesn't make you shit.
little kzw Again, these are things she likes. You can't say what she likes is wrong because its what SHE likes. Just because you disagree doesn't mean that her likes and dislikes are wrong. Maybe she likes touristy things, I'm so sick of people saying crap about tourists or things tourists like to do. Maybe they're just enjoying their life and their time in New York. Get over it and ignore it if it bothers you so much.
I live on long island, and I go to the city all the time. This video made me smile so so so much, and I love hearing things about NYC that i never knew existed, like Books of Wonder.
I live in New York City and you made me realize how beautiful, inspiring, and incredible of a place this city truly is.♥︎♥︎ I have always admired your video creations and huge amounts of time and effort you put into every single one of your videos (which I also strive to do for all of my videos), but this one especially was SO special and touching. Ingrid, you are amazing. and CONGRATULATIONS on the yes to collab launch!! xoxoxo
Before I went to New York City last may, I thought it would be just another city. I didn't get why people were this excited about a city. Then, as I said, last may I went to New York City myself. From the moment I was there, it felt like home immediately.. which isn't something that happens easily for me. After a week I when I was back in Europe I almost felt homesick and decided that I was going to go to New York again. So now I'm studying hard, saving and trying to get to study for half a year at NYU as an exchange student in a little over 1 year.. What can I say.. I just LOVE NYC!
Ingrid - this video and your appreciation for the city and place I called home for 20 years touched me. Thank you for showing more than the glitz and grunge but more of the arteries that lead to the heart of this great city. Life is in the details!
I'm glad Ingrid is having a great experience...I was in NYC for five days a few years back, and five days was enough. Yes, I went to MoMA and the Metropolitan Opera and the Empire State building and the Statue of Liberty, I saw Spamalot on Broadway, hung out in Times Square, and I had the best bagels I've ever eaten in my life. But I'm a Chicago girl, and comparatively I just couldn't deal with NYC. I felt like if I dropped dead on the sidewalk people would scream at me for being in the way. Everyone was rude, and I felt myself becoming rude the longer I was there. I didn't feel like I could just stroll down the street like Ingrid, I felt like I had to rush everywhere. I realize that crime is technically worse in Chicago, but the vibe of Chicago makes me feel like I can walk down any street with my purse wide open (not that I do, but I'm not afraid for my safety there.) ANYWAY. Those are my unsolicited two cents. ;)
What sucks about these videos is it is sugar coated plenty, but all the emotions in the city excite me and it's almost the struggle of the whole day is what gets you to appreciate it
I'm proud to be from NY :) but Ingrid you should really explore more not only is there manhattan but there's queens, Bronx, Long Island lol I'm glad you enjoyed being here tho ;)
this video must be my favourite video of all time. New york has a special place in my heart that no other place can compare one day i will live there and call it HOME.
Ingrid is showing NYC at its finest. I get that there are more to the city than what she has seen and they are so many negative things about a city so big and full of people. But let's just sit back and enjoy Ingrid narrating this little story.
nyc has always been the ultimate place that i want to live in the future and i am in awe of your carefully written description and filming! thank you for putting so much effort in it! i really like this vid and find it inspiring! :)
As a kid from New York City, this video fills me with such a sense of pride. It's such a wonderful city, and I love seeing people appreciating the little things. Such as Books of Wonder!! I was in a show this year, with rehearsals right next store. I would go almost everyday after rehearsal, and get lost in the shelves. It's such a magical, little place. As is this wonderful city.
You do realize this is NOT the NY reality at all... unless you're living off of the trust fund daddy gave you. Otherwise you'll be spending your time working your ass off at whatever shitty job/internship you get to try to get somewhere like the rest of us... or just to pay the rent.
Murakami R You're such a great motivator. And I'm sure a lot people realize by now that it takes a LOT of hard work and dedication to get what they want. Note the sarcasm.
amyhoover9 I guess I'm stupid but I don't really get what you're trying to say... which part is sarcasm? Perhaps my comment is harsh but a lot of people come to ny and expect sunshine and lollipops, but when they don't get the paradise they expect they move out and badmouth us to everyone... it's annoying
Murakami R I don't know who all you've talked to in terms of great experience out in NY, and while I get everybody is different, we all have a right to be happy and sometimes you gotta stop complaining and do something to change if you don't like where your life is going. Sorry to get all philosophical on you, but my point is that sitting around and complaining doesn't make life any easier.
I love your perspective on NYC Ingrid :) I know a lot of people in the comments have said you "sugar coated" NYC in this video of didn't show the "real" NYC. However, you showed the NYC that YOU see! We all live our lives from our own unique perspective and it's beautiful to see how your NYC inspires you ♡ Also, congrats on the Yes To wipes. I'll be on the lookout when they come to stores.
I'm moving back to the Bronx but never had the chance to experience it all so thank you for the tips! You're great at the commentary, I enjoyed this video a lot!
I just spent 20 minutes looking up the history of the Flatiron building...wow. Holy moly Ingrid, that was the best "tourism" video for New York I have ever seen. You SERIOUSLY captured CULTURE in New York. Like, I wanna get on a plane and go there now. LOVED it. Congrats on the partnership with "YES".
That video is really sweet! I think the lesson to be learnt is not about NY but about seeing the positive side in everything, in every city, in people, situations etc! You did a great job!
This is the video that made me fall in love with NYC. This is probably my favorite video of yours ever and it's obvious that so much time and thought went into making this.
One of my biggest dreams is to go to New York with my boyfriend! Especcialy in the winter. This video makes me sooo jealous, I wanna go to New York NOW!!! :D
There are plenty of places in NYC than wont break your budget....and newsflash..people work 8 hours a day to afford their homes, cars etc all over the country. 8 hour day IS the norm...
Awww this brings back memories! I moved to NY at 18 and lived there for 3 years and it was probably the hardest but most amazing experience I've ever had :)
My favorite video of yours so far! Amazing job Ingrid! I so appreciate all your hard work and bravery. I imagine it's hard to be filmed or film yourself in a busy city with lots of people. Thanks for everything you do. You are my favorite youtuber and I truly enjoy you as person, your personality and your creative visions and videos. Keep on keepin on. Love you
Wow I was born and raised in this city and you made it sound hella good. I went to high school in Harlem. If you're bored and in the city with time to spare take the Staten Island Ferry. Take the R to Whitehall. The ferry is free and you can see the entire Manhattan skyline and Statue of Liberty. There's dollar pizza joints, Bryant Park, the Brooklyn Bridge, NYPL, halal carts, the Apollo, the Unisphere, The New York Hall of Science (I used to go there a lot on school trips when I was a kid), The Bronx Zoo, the bodega (raisin bagels and cream cheese or a bacon egg and cheese on a roll are my most common requests), and much more.
this video is so amazing! thank you for making this :) I'm going to New York City for the first time ever this summer and I'm so excited to visit the places you showed in this video and discover more on my own!
lol there's also garbage everywhere and rats and cockroaches and nasty subways and rude people and extremely impatient cab drivers and homeless people but it's interesting to see the city from a tourists perspective and how wonderful and magical it seems to them. I do love the city though. Even through it has it's flaws
WelcometoRiley I'm not trying to be negative, though I understand why you could see it that way. I'm just trying to show that the city is not the same to everyone.
I live in New York City and I agree that it is truly an inspiring city despite the fact that it's so crazy! It never sleeps! Haha :) this was an awesome video Ingrid!
***** I technically lived in NYC for the summer because I took summer art classes there! I have family that lives in the city, so I stay with them throughout summer vacation. Classes there were pretty amazing! I remember standing late at night in front of the windows and I could see Times Squares and its light on for hours and hours; it's true, the city never sleeps!!
***** I live in NYC too and I love it! I feel like this place made me into the person I am today. I feel like I'm an open minded person, thanks to this city.
Ingrid your videos perfectly captures the feels, the beauty and a wonderful vibe, which is very rare to find in other videos. I love your videos, it makes me feel calm and this video definitely makes me want to visit New York more and more than I already do! :)
This 100% convinced me to move to New York. After I watched this video, my mom and I traveled there. I love morning walks especially there. It's so truly beautiful
I really enjoyed this video! We are planning on moving to Brooklyn for work and to be closer to my sister and her husband so this made me so excited!! Congrats on the makeup wipes, too! I love that brand, I'll have to go pick them up! :)
Just visited NYC for the first time this summer, was a rushed visit, but I really got a taste of the beautiful city. I want to go back so badly. Possibly my favourite city in the whole world.
I don't get all the hate. This is most probably my favorite video ever, because it's so full of wonder and amazement and so amazingly delicious to the eyes !!! Nyc is literally a dream materialized, and I want to go there so badly :-(
+Justin Santiago the Northeast is amazing..:o top schools, some cities have really good quality of living, states close together so lots of weekend trip potential...
I'm from New York and I think its sad that some "natives" are being so harsh. NYC is so beautiful and even though I've been here my whole life I still get captivated by its irresistible charm and character. It's just upsetting that some of us have lost the ability to see how amazing this place really is.
You are giving life and warmth in my heart Ingrid! LOVE YOU! You remind me so much of my cousin Linda who just passed away at 23... Great Video! Been to NYC during the winter time and Central Park looks beautiful :)
Omg, I found myself to be in a trance-like state, almost hypnotized watching this video! Ingrid, I loved it, and your voice is so soothing, you should consider a narrator type job!! :)
anyone have tips on places to visit in NYC that are safe and budget friendly? or just any tips in general on travelling when it's just by myself? any tips or advice would be greatly appreciated!! :)
I've been to nyc twice now. If you're on a budget make sure you travel via the subway. It may be confusing but cabs can be super expensive especially due to the traffic. You don't need to spend money on tours or anything. If you want to see the Statue of Liberty take the Staten Island ferry. It's free and you go right by it! When shopping for souvineers you will find that the exact same shirt will be 10$ cheaper if you don't buy it in Times Square or on 6th avenue. Venture off the tourist strips for better deals. Those are just a few tips. Hope it helps!
I'm from NY, Brooklyn to be specific and i HIGLY recommend going there. Brooklyn has amazing places tucked into certain neighborhoods and discovering them is easy and an adventure in itself.
I spent several months in NYC and I don't think bricks would be on my list 50 reasons why I love NYC. I kinda expected more than a general list of trees, flowers, sunsets, etc on the list. The way you talked on the video reminded me of Michelle Phan, was this just me?
sweetaggiegal Yeah she totally reminded me of Michelle Phan and Michelle Phan literally makes me sick. How is Michelle so successful? She is so annoying, fake, cheesy, and her teeth look like the cheshire cat :'D Annoying as hell. Idk why ingrid talked like that the entire video....
This must have been so much work! Absolutely worth it, it turned out inspiring and beautiful. Visiting New York for the first time this summer; as a European who has never been to the States, I am so so so much looking forward to the tall buildings! Can't even imagine how it's gonna be :O
I used to live in NY but now live in LA. I'm gonna be honest here. When your actually born and raised in NYC, it's so easy to take it all for granted. Now don't get me wrong. All the years that I was raised in NY and lived there, I knew about the city and I loved the city a lot considering it was home and still is home to me to this day, but there's still a lot I didn't know about the city/state of NY and a lot I never even did or saw. Hoping on visiting NY again. Or even better for me, MOVE BACK TO NY. I personally love the people ( New Yorkers ). Lots of people say that their rude and tough and to fast. The truth is, you can find rude people anywhere. Rudeness was not created for New Yorkers. The reason why they might seem tough however is probably cause of everything they've been through. I personally see them as fighters. They've been through the year 1977, the worst year in the city/state for murder crime and gang crime, bankruptcy, a huge black out, ( the worst followed by NYC's 2003 blackout ), dirtiest year, and Times Square which was filled with prostitutes, drug dealers, bad Broadway shows and so many more. Then in 2001 came 9/11. A nightmare NY survived. And struggles daily to never relive. Then in 2012 came Hurricane Sandy which caused billions dollars of damage. Which was caused by global warming. New Yorkers went through all of that and still come out stronger then they were before. That right there is amazing! And the city/state of New York is a lot better now cause of the changes and the lessons learned.
+Manhattankid10 I love it there!!, your comment was so inspirational..yes very true about the blackout and drug....but now its very reduced and different
+YoYo “yoyo” blue Yes. Today its way better then it was before. However some people actually miss the old NY. I guess it's because they probably grew up in that era.
+Mike MacTrean I lived in NYC in the 2000s. So I guess I think that today's NYC is better. But I can see on why something's of NY back then we're better. Just wondering, why do you think that NYC back then was better?
+Mike MacTrean I believe it! lol I've seen some footage of the old NY ( 70s, 80s and 90s ) and I'm not going to lie. I wish I could have experienced that NY. Even though I'm still happy with today's NY.
New York City is known for being a whirlwind of craziness, but if you take the time to slow down, you'll find little treasures everywhere! :)
OBSESSED WITH THIS!!
This video is so calming:)
Ah! I just got home from New York City for the first time ever! It was such an amazing city!!
Ingrid that was beautiful!!!!!! You should visit us on Long Island!!! Take the LIRR!!!! I will give you a tour!!!! This really almost made me cry, NY is my home!!!
Ingrid! Wow you definitely have a way with words! This video was lovely and the editing was on point. Keep up the good work!
Okay I got teary eyed in watching this video? Anyone else? Loved it so much! I'm glad you're loving New York.
Me too!!
No she missed to many fantastic landmarks....
Same here haha
I love living in NYC! High line is definitely one of my favorite places!

Love you so much! Isn't this video sweet?? xx
Ah Cassey,i love you so much!you are my inspiration and i am following the Movember calendar!
New York city is beautiful. Crazy how so much of it is man made, yet can be as amazing as a mountain range when viewed from afar. Well done us!
#humanswin
You're everywhere!
Vici Svartström
Oops i mean everywhere I go
Her vocabulary is so good, adjectives, verbs, onomatopoeia,! I'm super impressed, she has so much different vocabulary!
Unfortunately half of it is wrong! Her usage of permeate, for example, is incorrect. Love you Ingrid, but you're trying way too hard
Um, and when did she even use onomatopoeia in this video?
Clearly you don't. Please improve your grammar.
lol guys she's being sarcastic. her speech in this video was overly cliche and repetitive..
I was born and raised in NYC and I absolutely love it still. It has always been a place that has captured and fascinated me.
missglamorazzi Thank you so much for this video!
Surrounding yourself with positive ppl is best! I've never been there but will someday! Hope you make the best of your days there!
I love your vids!!
I'm on Long Island and work in NYC but even though the city is only a 45 min train ride away my dream is to live there and have the whole living in NYC experience. Its the same with me though every time I mention it to people they're only negative about it crushing my dreams :( I hate suburbia!

Thank you ingrid, I miss nyc now :( I went there 2 months ago and it. was. AMAZING.
Are related to Bethany Mota?
I think she's just a fan :)
***** Yes : ) Most likely.
OMG, you captured most of the things I love about the City. That's what us Jersey folks call NYC. I love the museums too and seeing the old buildings with all their beautiful details, they don't make them like that anymore.
This literally gave me chills

This video reminds my of Michelle Phan ! Great job btw
Yeah, she talks in the same way:p
Agree!
👍
It doessss, now that you mention it :) Very calm voice like Michelle's
I love New York! But no Rockefeller Plaza, Times Square, Met Museum, Lincoln Center, Grand Central Terminal??? There's so much to explore and every time I go there it's always an adventure and I always discover something new.
I agree she should've said a lot more.
i guess she wanted to include the stuff that wasn't super touristy
I think she wanted to talk about more un-popular places

I agree!!!! The filming is amazing and all those spots and treasures make me want to visit all the more!! Especially the book store...

Waldorfdarling she will probably create a second video, 51-100 things, no worries.
Waldorfdarling I think thats what she wanted. to point out all of the things about new york that people don't notice or think about (:
I love NYC so much! I am actually moving there next month and will be doing vlogs & such about my move and experience if you want to check out my channel

I've been living here my entire life and I feel like I just learned a whole bunch of things lol. You make my home sound like some magical town
lol
Sammeee omg
I love this!!!!!
This just gave me goosebumps. There is absolutely nothing like being in the city.
This was so beautiful Ingrid! Great video :) Thanks! xx
THIS. WAS. AWESOME!
I love your videos Amelia❤️❤️❤️
It really was! I love u Amelia
Everyone saying she sugar coated everything... Duh. These are her favorite things, not things that suck about NYC.
Thank you
I repeat, these are HER favorite things. Maybe she loves Mr. Softee?
If I'm in New York and I want prepackaged thawed out nasty ass Olive Garden I'm going to eat it and that in no way effects you. Get off your elitist high horse. What other people eat doesn't make you shit.

I can only dream of living there...
***** cool
Ingrid - this video and your appreciation for the city and place I called home for 20 years touched me. Thank you for showing more than the glitz and grunge but more of the arteries that lead to the heart of this great city. Life is in the details!
50 Things I'm Thankful For (It would be a perfect video for Thanksgiving coming up!) :) Thumbs up if you agree that Ingrid should do it!
I think it would be such an excellent video to promote positivity, especially around such a cheery season! :)
I realize that crime is technically worse in Chicago, but the vibe of Chicago makes me feel like I can walk down any street with my purse wide open (not that I do, but I'm not afraid for my safety there.)
ANYWAY. Those are my unsolicited two cents. ;)
yup! move fast or get out of the way!
Bronx? just ghetto, those are are all for that matter. nothing nice in Bronx but nasty beach sure why she didn't mention them
I'm from the Bronx
And the Bronx isn't that bad
There's a ghetto neighborhood in every borough
So check ur facts first
marie kr like bronx, like Manhattan and every where else has a plc that's "ghetto"
My thoughts exactly! Lol
I'm from NY too, but I moved to South Carolina. But she should go around to other parts of the state.
this video must be my favourite video of all time. New york has a special place in my heart that no other place can compare one day i will live there and call it HOME.
The way she narrates this reminds me of Michelle Phan.
Yes I was thinking the exact same thing the whole time!!!! Not a bad thing but didn't sound like her.
I know right?
Ok yessss I thigh I was the only one!
Ingrid is showing NYC at its finest. I get that there are more to the city than what she has seen and they are so many negative things about a city so big and full of people. But let's just sit back and enjoy Ingrid narrating this little story.
50 things about L.A pls
I agree!
She now lives in NYC so how would she film something like that if she doesn't live in LA? A video like that requires a lot of footage.
..
GoldenDreams Look at the description under the video she asks it herself
nyc has always been the ultimate place that i want to live in the future and i am in awe of your carefully written description and filming! thank you for putting so much effort in it! i really like this vid and find it inspiring! :)
this video honestly made me cry!! love you Ingrid!
eggwhitewitch Actually me too,i can see how she loves this city and it just got me amotional
Hanny Magor same!
That was 10x better than any of my English essays.
Loved it Ingrid!
No idea why im crying watching this! I do really LOVE NYC! Thank you Ingrid!
This was amazing i dream of going and living in New York and you might have convinced me in living there in the future
living here is not a dream. its hard work and most people leave because new york is TOUGH.
I was born & still live in NYC. I feel like you sugar coated everything though! NYC isn't the greatest place on the Earth lol
I agree with you!
agre x 1M.. lived in nyc for 3 years and i couldnt wait to get out
I agree. It really isn't it has it's perks...but I guess when your from a different state people think it is
totally. I agree with her on the food, though.
Agreed
I can't EVEN! This video was perfection, Ingrid! Pining over New York right now.
Hi melanie?
I love you for mentioning Brooklyn! Brooklyn is my heart!
I live in New York and I go to the city so often but I've never noticed how beautiful it is until I saw this
I live in Nyc too
Same Lol
if you're planning move to new york, don't think twice. this is the most amazing city in the world. i just love it
her narration totally reminds me of Michelle Phan's videos
Wow! This video was edited amazingly!! Seriously a fantastic video Ingrid!!
Yay for NYC! :)
This makes me miss New York so much! :(
I'm moving back to the Bronx but never had the chance to experience it all so thank you for the tips! You're great at the commentary, I enjoyed this video a lot!
50 things I love about LA 💙
Video remainds me Gossip girl :)) lol.. Ingrid, you are amazing!
I live here and I have to say it is REALLY pretty, but make sure you're butt is NOT out and that your money/valuable items are safe👍😊
New York comes alive around Christmas times !
i live here, NOT PRETTY, well..... its a beauty but kinda noisy ya know.
I live in the upper west side of Manhattan. Not that pretty. Time square is the only place that's good hers
Ελιζααα ❤️❤️❤️
NYC is amazing, as long as you have money. Majority of people here work 8+ hours per day just to make rent.
yup and we can't afford to have avocado and salmon on fancy bread. we can only afford key food bread wiith key food ham.
carmonkey yep lol. to me that small vanilla coffee is just wasted train fare ...
There are plenty of places in NYC than wont break your budget....and newsflash..people work 8 hours a day to afford their homes, cars etc all over the country. 8 hour day IS the norm...
DDelilahM It's harder to be working class in NYC than almost anywhere else. You can't deny that.
Why do you think its harder in NYC as opposed to lets say London or Los Angeles Or Chicago?...
There's dollar pizza joints, Bryant Park, the Brooklyn Bridge, NYPL, halal carts, the Apollo, the Unisphere, The New York Hall of Science (I used to go there a lot on school trips when I was a kid), The Bronx Zoo, the bodega (raisin bagels and cream cheese or a bacon egg and cheese on a roll are my most common requests), and much more.
this is soooooooooo michelle phan...but i liked it lol good job ingrid
yeah this remined me of her style of videos
this video is so amazing! thank you for making this :) I'm going to New York City for the first time ever this summer and I'm so excited to visit the places you showed in this video and discover more on my own!
I went to New York in March for four days and it was, no doubt, one of the best experiences of my life. I'm definitely going back sometime :)
lol there's also garbage everywhere and rats and cockroaches and nasty subways and rude people and extremely impatient cab drivers and homeless people but it's interesting to see the city from a tourists perspective and how wonderful and magical it seems to them. I do love the city though. Even through it has it's flaws
And negative people like you.
WelcometoRiley I'm not trying to be negative, though I understand why you could see it that way. I'm just trying to show that the city is not the same to everyone.
THUMBS UP this comment if you live in New York City :D
I wishhhh :-( stuck here in Austria
missdreamofNY I lived in Vienna, Austria before and I really enjoyed it as well! I miss it a lot :(
I think every place is unique in its own way!
Ingrid your videos perfectly captures the feels, the beauty and a wonderful vibe, which is very rare to find in other videos. I love your videos, it makes me feel calm and this video definitely makes me want to visit New York more and more than I already do! :)
this makes me realize i take living on the east coast for granted
No broadway? Times Squares? Shopping? Starbucks?...
Kay C The other stuff she should have included at least lol especially Broadway
Come to Seattle for Starbucks lol
broadway and times square are over-rated. she talked about the best and unappreciated things
but she missed the outerboroughs
+carmonk
i am a country girl and hate the city but this makes me want to go to new york city lol
I was just about to write exactly the same but then I saw your comment so yeah, I totally agree with you 😂🙌❤️
I am too! but I love love love new york city because of the things she pointed out!
I've been to NYC and its never appealed to me but her video makes it sound awesome- maybe I should be less critical next time I go...
Loved the idea behind this video, Ingrid! You have opened my eyes to more of NYC beauty.
you sound a bit like Michelle Phan in this Video ;)
I felt that too
***** sameee i thougjt so too
Same
Only a bit??? ^^
literally the first thing I noticed lol
This 100% convinced me to move to New York. After I watched this video, my mom and I traveled there. I love morning walks especially there. It's so truly beautiful
Taylor Benson Coney Island is great a lot more space there to move around gets you out of the hustle and bustle.
+Taylor Benson You can go to college there to try it out for 4 years.
awesomr
Can we get an Update on your move to New York? Still love it? Things you didn't expect?
DKG Entertainment expenisve ? Most apartments dont make u pay for utilities: water gas ect.
I really enjoyed this video! We are planning on moving to Brooklyn for work and to be closer to my sister and her husband so this made me so excited!! Congrats on the makeup wipes, too! I love that brand, I'll have to go pick them up! :)
The first supportive comment I have seen yet
Just visited NYC for the first time this summer, was a rushed visit, but I really got a taste of the beautiful city. I want to go back so badly. Possibly my favourite city in the whole world.
I don't get all the hate. This is most probably my favorite video ever, because it's so full of wonder and amazement and so amazingly delicious to the eyes !!! Nyc is literally a dream materialized, and I want to go there so badly :-(
It's more like a nightmare materialized.
+Lisa Vega That is for certain!
It's a wonderful city especially because of its diversity. But it can be soooo stressful
+Liliana Kohl Jersey and Upstate are just as crappy as NYC. Those smart enough know to move away from the Northeast all together.
+Justin Santiago the Northeast is amazing..:o top schools, some cities have really good quality of living, states close together so lots of weekend trip potential...
This video made me fall back in love with NY😊❤️
Mackenzie J thanks a lot! are cab rides calculated by time rather than distance?
I know a lot of cute, inexpensive food places that are tucked away on SOHO, if your interested? :)
Kay La. yes of course! any information is welcome :)
Very true.........
sweetaggiegal Yeah she totally reminded me of Michelle Phan and Michelle Phan literally makes me sick. How is Michelle so successful? She is so annoying, fake, cheesy, and her teeth look like the cheshire cat :'D Annoying as hell. Idk why ingrid talked like that the entire video....
I would love to see more of New York. It truly is a magical city. I recently went and I'm pretty sure I left my heart there
This must have been so much work!
Manhattankid10 Yeahh true and also becausr there maybe was a different vibe too back then.
What a beautiful video, now my favorite on youtube. I love New York, you should defiantly go at Christmas time. :) xxx
I like in north nj so I'm close and I went to the Rockefeller center and I saw the rockettes and they are amazing
Stephy, my dance teacher is a former Rockette of 11 years. She's incredible!!
Cassie Miller thats awesome! has she thought you any rockette related things?
I've lived in NYC my entire life and you really brought the magic of it back for me in this video. I loved it!
