Finally! The entire "story" of the fantastic Church rummage sale that keeps on giving combined into one video! Thanks for watching, commenting and subscribing, Vickie & Mark ~ Avante Avenue
Amazing finds at the church rummage sale. I dont know why so many resellers avoid clear glass. I love you guys doing these videos together, you are a hoot.
I'm pretty sure we sat beside you all last weekend at Cheddars at exit 7. ??? I wanted to speak but wasn't 100% sure it was you all! We love watching you two!
Not sure where exit 7 is, but we were at Chedders this week in Kingsport on N. Eastman Rd. (not exit 7). If you ever do see us be sure to say hello because we would love to meet you! Thank you!
I went to a fantastic church sale earlier this year and on 2 days I was able to shop before it was open to the public.I found a large assortment of vintage items. I am still listing items from it. Thanks for the video Vickie and Mark.
Love a good rummage sale. There is a group in my area that hold a sales a few times a year at a local mall empty store. It benefits Children's Hospital. Win win!!!!
Wow!! 😮 What a haul. I hope your finger is better Vickie. 9:37 - I'm from the UK and Derby is pronounced Darby. The county (State) is Derbyshire and that's pronounced Darbersheer 😅 xx
Oh yes, I'm fine. It's a memory, if nothing else. LOL. Thanks for the lesson in UK speak. I shared your comment with Mark and he shared a story with me about an ancestor with the last name Derby. After arriving to the U.S., they continued to pronounce their last name (Derby) as "Darby." Well, their last name ended up in the "records" spelled as "Darby."
That was an amazing sale, I understand 💯 why you kept going back! Thanks for showing the backstory for the Stash-back Saturday videos. Mark is so funny 😉😁 Can’t wait for your next video ❤
Omgoodness, I loved this style video from y’all.! I watch y’all all the time on my TV, but have never commented. Thank you for sharing your wealth of knowledge!
I love your Church rummage sale haul. You found so many nice things. Thanks for opening the boxes. Time for me to open a box. It'll be like Christmas. 😄
what a sale 3-4 trips some are like that,, the goodwill around the corner from me is like that when they get an estate every day more stuff comes out so I keep going till it runs through,,,
Great tip, Thomas! I know we've been going back to the same stores weekly (several weeks now) hoping they will get "new in package" products from donations. Thanks!
I have picked up several pieces of glass with flea bite or larger chips that I was able to repair with different grits of sandpaper. It saved the items and I was able to sell all for good prices. I took photos and disclosed. I always do the feel test checking for chips. Luckily, I’ve never cut my finger. I know that was an Ouch moment. Loved this video!
I am drawn to glass, especially art glass. QUESTION: How many items did it take to have in your inventory to start getting regular sales? And do you know what % of your sales is glass? Thanks for sharing such great finds in your videos!
If I had to guess, I'd say 300 items to start getting regular sales. With that said, in an economy like we're having now, no "amount/quantity" of listings is making much difference (for us). Sales have been painfully slow (July). I haven't tried to check what % if glass....we sell so many different items. Thank you!

Thank you, Maggie! I know I avoided ALL glass for years!
Most clear glass aren’t selling but certain brand styles are still selling but you have to have a good knowledge about glass ( a lot dont )
Your husband is soooo funny.
He does surprise me sometimes with what he says (I think I do the same to him). Thank you, Ruth!

Wow. Re-selling is hard work.

That is a great tip and it's always good to have a plan when repairing items like that. Thanks for sharing!
Great video.
Thank you, Laura!
A lot of resellers stay away clear glass. But would maybe start if I learned what's valuable. Any ideas of more places to learn. Thank you
You might find my What Sold / pack to ship videos for glassware (all types). Look for my playlist for glassware.

Finds like this are getting harder and harder to find. Vintage, especially American is much sort after.
Yes, vintage finds for sure. Unique finds for sure...getting harder to find. I'm looking for more NOS" new old stock these days. Thank you, Wendy!
