Kazuo explained the feeling of the representation in children's books which I have not been able to put into words myself." adults presenting the world in a softer light and giving clues to children a glimpse of their future world".
I love Ishiguro. His books hit you on a visceral level. As skilled as storyteller as there is
I got infected with the KIV (Kazuo Ishiguro-virus) many years ago when I read 'The remains of the day' for the first time shortly after it was published in 1989. I have read it a few times again over the years and it keeps haunting me ever since in a way that I don't want to miss.
i'll have to look them up on audible !
I loved this book. It made me feel happy for some weeks. I have read most Ishiguro's book, and I find his style amazingly insightful and serene.
Thank you very much - a very interesting conversation
