*A great vacuum💯 for the price. The suction is awesome **MyBest.Tools** excellent for pet hair. The beater attachment works great on the stairs. Not too heavy and easily maneuvered.🤨*
What I'd like is access to the sides of the brushroll and the dang belts.... I'm a bit irked about just how far I'm going to have to take this apart to fix the clog in the spin....
I have previously owned this vacuum and can say that the carpet brush-roll will not make contact with level hard floors. If you have uneven tile or highly textured hard floors, you will hear the difference.
After using this device for a couple of months that dirty looking carpet is no longer discolored. This vacuum has enough power to pull the dirt out. It is also narrow enough to fit in tight spaces-like under the dinning chairs.
I've had this vacuum for just under a year and I've been through two handles and two heads. I LOVE the vacuum capability and dual batteries that we have. I love the way it picks up but one head, the motor just stopped working one day and on the second head, the clear plastic piece on the drive side of the front roller has shattered. The rest of the head is buit fairly well but that one clear plastic piece is junk. I have a love (powerful and clean) hate (breaks all the time) relationship with this unit. Any duo-clean vac they make has the same weakness.
I am testing it out in an apartment complex cordless is great but I got to see if it's heavy duty enough to last I'm going to give it a two weeks test,, if not back it goes
I have this vacuum and agree with all of your points - particularly the short hose. I would also add that the brush roll gets wrapped with debris much more frequently than any other vacuum I've ever used. Also, the filters on the right hand side of the machine need frequent cleaning and there is a lot of dust in the filter housing which would indicate the seal isn't perfect. All that said, despite its flaws, it's a very nice vacuum to use. And it's ability to stand on its own is really nice. I've also got the Dyson V8 (which I also like) and it can and does fall over when leaned against a wall.
Mine want come on at all. When I click to turn on my battery light up but , doesn’t come at all. All I was doing is vacuuming and it shut off. Will you tell me what that could be?
If shark allowed for removable brush rolls (only one I've seen so far does for a duo clean power head), they could sell the soft bristle one, like they did for the shark powerhead. I still wish they made that again, though they have problems with the brush roller motor.
@@VacuumAdvisor Thanks. It's hard to find a cordless that ticks all my boxes for cars: runs without having to hold a button pressed in, simple hose without a bulky handle, and powerful. I've never tried it, but I have a sneaking suspicion the Milwaukee cordless (which seems aimed at tradies) may be one of the best cordless car vacs. I have a Black & Decker 18V Flexi Dustbuster at the moment - it's pretty good, but not that powerful, and the filter needs frequent cleaning. It's so frustrating that Dyson require the power trigger to be held in!
I see that Milwaukee have more than one vacuum - the one I was referring to is the big boxy one. Also, I notice that Tineco's vacuums tick all my boxes - except for the fact that they are not available here in Australia. 😡
Great vacuum but is fragile. If you have mostly hard floors and are gentle with your equipment, this would be a great find. I've never seen any scratches on wood floors. The battery concerns are not a issue for me, but i bought a backup battery. Better vacuum than than his brother, the F80. Bravo to Shark! great vac.
anyone who has concerns that a vinyl brush is going to scratch a properly maintained floor is ignorant. you wear shoes with rocks stuck in the grooves, drop things, furniture, etc. with no issues.
Hi again, I think I figured out why you had that boost issue with yours. According to this review, th-cam.com/video/b5E0qqxyHT4/w-d-xo.html you have to hold down boost with a cleaner head. Is this your experience? Perhaps you were on boost mode but then it didn't hold once you put back into the nozzle.
Guy Fisher think it came out before the Zero M. Still, like you, I wish they could have been able to make the Zero M brush roll so that it can be interchangeable. Don’t believe Shark even offers chance to upgrade. That would be nice.
Every vacuum like this one is overpriced. The price of the vacuum is ridiculous as well as the attachments to them. I never see reviewers talk about the price of these vacuums. The battery is by far the worst part. I’m sure many people aren’t bothered by either the battery life or the price but all that expense and you don’t even get 20 minutes of battery life with the best suction. When I vacuum I would always keep it on high to make sure I thoroughly cleaned the carpet. You can save hundreds of dollars by buying a vacuum with a cord while never worrying about how long you have until the battery is drained. Which isn’t long.
They won't scratch any wood floor... they have an abrasive degree (the lowest of this degrees with never be barely touched by a soft plastic brush). You guys behave like spoiled brats ... of you are going to damage my floor with that or that... when you don't even know or even clean once in your life and you the review guy... desk is your place... with all due respect as the saying... Shoe maker to do shoes ;)
U tried ur best to differentiate but not actually showed pros n cons without comparing different brand. If its so hard to use than why not buy broom n dustpan.

I like listening to him speak. Soothing, calm, and quite knowledgeable.
They do offer a power hand tool that comes with certain packages or separately on their website.

WHERE IS THE DUST BIN ON THE EDGE CLEANING TEST? 5:20!
Music Beast I KNOW WHAT WERE THEY THINKING WITHOUT THE DUST BIN?????
What? Lol dyson v10 v11 definitely paid all these guys who make vaccum comparisons

As usual another honest review. Thanks.
Did you review the Simplicity Vacuums AGOGO Cordless Stick Vacuum?

Deciding between the v8 and p50. Which one do you prefer?
Is that the hard roll that sits behind the red like brush roll? If so, I hate that back brush roll with a passion. Wish I had never bought that!
Mine want come on at all. When I click to turn on my battery light up but , doesn’t come at all. All I was doing is vacuuming and it shut off. Will you tell me what that could be?
Could you use the motorized pet hair head that comes with the corded upright?
I guess not if it needs to click

Thank you for another great review!
will the power tool from the shark apex work for the p50 if i buy separately?
Can the handle be removed from the hose? I find that a crevice tool attached directly to a hose is the best way to vacuum a car.
I took a look at it and it appears to that the handle is not designed to come off of the hose.

anyone run across an inexpensive battery replacement for this one? Im missing the battery and charger.
My P50 only came with two tools. The brush and crevice tool.
depend on where it being sold, it might come with different tools
That seems ridiculous for the price
5:20 where is the dust bin????? this review was a lie about edge cleaning if u r going 2 cheat at least be good at it🤔🤔🤔🤭
Lol at this person leaving a comment and their name is “fanofbissell”.

Any plans for reviewing the Shark Ion F80?
Haven't got it on the list yet. But if I do get the chance I will review it - would probably be later in the year though.
@@VacuumAdvisor Got it. Thanks.

Too bad they didn't put Zero-M in this unit

The P50 was just on WOOT for $75.00! I grabbed 2. (Refurb)
I got mine from woot as well. I think the suction is horrible. I am trying to figure out if it is just my unit or are they all that way?
@@shawnaseago1360 Mine's great. Double check everything and make sure there are no blockages.

They do have 5 to 7 year warranty buying at shark
