After you store in the fridge for 1 week to pickle you are able to eat , also it is good for up to 1 month .

You can buy chili paste at any grocery store most of the time. I bought mine at an Asian store. WinCo and Safeway also carry chili paste. You can check any large food store near you depending on where you live.
