The best so far "Oh Quante volte". Gruberova´s voice fit in perfectly this aria with a stunning coloratura and a beautiful singing line. Great rendition to Bellini. Bravisima.

No idea why they say Battle is great. Battle lacks breath control!!!!!!!!!!! By contrast, Mariella Devia and Gruby have untouchable breath control!!!!!
"Better rendition"! certainly not; other type yes. Why do you want "full fioritura" in this aria??? Not at all what Bellini requered here! (and on stage Gruberova's voice is most powerful than Devia's one; i saw both!). If you don't hear a singing line here we can't do anything for you!
@SENAFOREVER many italian singers still have it. mariella Devia, Daniella Dessi has better rendition, effortless legato, and dark, full fioritura which Gruberova lacks. just because nowadays recording monopoly too merchandizesd to introduce those wonderful singers(have voice, but lack of Anna-like showwomen-ship) to world.
It is a prompter or just a very vocal audience member? Who ever it is, I definitely hear it and its a woman. I love this version though. Even though her runs are approximate, she keeps the piece moving, unlike some recordings I've heard which have been so sluggish they become boring!
