Do it like he does until you reach the fourth set of holes. When you reach the fourth set just stick the laces into the holes and tie. When you're done it should have three bars (instead of five) and the part where you tie it at the top.

I own a pair myself, I find them very comfortable. Also I bought them for 50 bucks, which isn't expensive when I only buy shoes once a year.

Nope. You must have to have blue vans for this to work. I'm sorry that you bought red vans but EVERYBODY knows that red vans can't do this.

Hey man thx, it was very simple to do.
converse take a while to put on, but if you lace the last two eyelets kriss kross under the tounge, you can slip tem on with ease
doing this with my shoes right now,, changing it up a little

If you don't like to lace em all the way up like me, you can only do it up to the third hole or else it won't work...I like it though. :)
