Byblos - Jbeil | بيبلوس - جبيل

Byblos sea port and surroundings by drone, an aerial ++ video footage showing sightseeing from the awesome historic land and city of Byblos Jbeil, mainly its seaport and surrounding houses of worship.
About 42 km north of the capital Beirut, Jbeil, Jibayl, or jbail, gbail is the largest city in the Mount Lebanon (Governorate of Lebanon) It is believed to have been occupied first between 8800 and 7000 BC, and according to fragments attributed to the semi-legendary pre-Homeric Phoenician priest Sanchuniathon, it was built by the god Cronus as the first city in Phoenicia. It is one of the oldest continuously inhabited cities in the world. The site has been continuously inhabited since 5000 BCE. It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
