This is the first I ever heard of a fusible resistor in the meter. I have only seen the fuse blow This must not be common problem. do you recall why it was damaged 8 years ago?

Great video, my Fluke 87 when I select AC Volts, bounces between 3.0 mV and sometimes as high as 48 m V. When I switch to DC Volts it bounces between .003 and -.003, then on DC mV it bounces between -00.4mV and 10.0 mV. Just didn't know if any of these are normal. This happens with test leads plugged in but not touching each other. I can move test leads around and the readings change.

Should not have your skin/fingers in the circuit when testing resistance.

Hi , I am Ronnie from Philippines. I have a Fluke 334 Clamp Meter with very dimmed or missing character of LCD . This was obsolete since 2007 according to Fluke. They could not support me on this issue. May I know the specification and if you can share the LCD drawing. Thank you and more power!

Hi great video. I have an 87-v and the Vac does not respond when connected to my 220/240V mains. All i see on the screen is the high voltage signal. Also took it to an instrumentation shop for calibration and the readings were all near perfect except for the Vac. It says " The Vac is not responding to calibration. What can i do? Thanks

To fix this problem, get some Q-Tips and WD40, spray the Q-Tips and ram it down the Lead holes give it a good twisting. Use a fresh Tip for each hole and swab twice with more WD 40 each time, this will clear this little problem right up. BTW WD in WD40 stands for Water Displacer formula 40.
