Guys just do that 1: initilase the ps4, if will all delete on ps4 but you can sign back to your acc and restal all the games but keep in mind games like assassin creed or gta will complete delete your earns like missions the story mode all offline things will delete but games like fortnite and other games will be safe Have a good day
U need a Usb this is what I got too but I need the usb to download it from the computer and connect it to the ps4 and it downloads right away the update
ChicoOnLinear u need to get a new hard drive for ur PS4 then download the PS4 update file off of ur pc to the hard drive . Then place the hard drive in your PS4, follow the instructions and it will re install everything but u would lose ur data on the hard drive.

Mine was 7.50 or later. I did everything I can possibly do to get my old ps4 back up and running again but nothing works, which means my machine has a permanently damaged system hard drive and can't be fixed. I even did the whole thing of going directly to Playstation.com to download the reinstallation of the system software. It went through and worked, but after the process completed, it took me back to the "Cannot start PS4" and required me to perform the same thing again. I did that same process 6 times and I could not get my machine fixed, and what shocks me is that people put videos on TH-cam saying that "oh its very easy to fix and its done in the simplest of steps", no its not, no its not "very easy to fix" especially when the damn machine keeps giving me the damn run around with problem after problem. I lost my patients with it and I just said screw it. Bottom line, if your Playstation 4 says that it cannot start, even after you've completed the reinstallation process, you're basically effed and need to buy a brand new machine. I'm getting my 2nd ps4 today and I finally get to play my most favorite game. My 1st ps4 I've had it for 4 years and I was constantly on it all the time. That's probably why it finally quit was because of serious burn out. Anyway when people say they struggle with fixing their ps4, I'm with you.

Just gone just like that, I was very mad when it happened, but now I'm not worried about it anymore. I have my new ps4 now so I'm happy with that. I get to start fresh again. My old ps4 was the very first model that came out, now I bought the upgraded version which has better graphics, better system hardware and much more storage space. I have the Playstation 4 Pro now, but I'm not using it till I get extra money to buy games for it. Anyway your best bet is to buy a new machine like I did and forget about stressing yourself out with this error bullshit. That's all I can really say.

Manuel PVargas it deletes everything. If you remember how to log into your account on play station network you can get it all back by re downloading everything. Im not sure what kind of issue you have but initialization did not worl for my problem it’s probably not what you want to hear but if you have any of the problems i have id just buy a new ps4 or switch to xbox sony is a scam 👌

@@afonsoplol6104 1. well after you initialize your ps4 you go to settings scroll down to application saved data management 2. After you click that you press saved data in online storage 3. Click download to system storage and after you click that click the games you want the data on and you should get it back ( BUT YOU NEED PS+ TO GET THE DATA)
Or u can try unpluging it and throwing it out the nearest window😁

I downloaded the 7.00 firmware from a flashdrive initialize my system and lost all my data and the fucking system still don't work correctly
If you have PS Plus you should be able to sign in and get all of your data back
