    I would really love to have you do a step by step on custom pen making. I need some adult supervision on this. I have purchased most my tools and parts from you but I still would like a better comfort zone on these before I start.

      We are starting video production on it this week. It is totally one that we know is needed, and it has been on the list, but we are just getting to it, so thank you for your patience and also for your feedback! We appreciate it!

    If you're doing a lot of these, a more efficient way to do Part B would be, you know those tiny sample cups that Costco and such gives out? You can buy those, and you can buy them without the wrinkles as well. You could take one of those, figure out what 1.5oz was on the cup, plus the little extra that wouldn't pour out, and then draw a line on the inside of the cup where you should fill it to. Then just pour to that line, and then dump that into the Part A mixture. Or, a more expensive but more efficient and accurate system would be to have as many scales as you have cups

      Everyone finds the method that works best for them for sure! :-)

    good instructional video. Question - when pen making, do you recommend painting the tube? If yes, what color works best with these abalone blanks?

    • @TurnersTv
      @TurnersTv  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks! And good question! You can always paint your tube if you think that the blank is going to be at all transparent. White or Black are ones that we do regularly, and if you don't feel like painting you can even order tubes that are already those colors. We have also painted the tubes colors that match one of the colors in the blank.. we do this with color drops, when there is more transparency. So really yes, you can experiment and paint tubes, but with these Abalone ones specifically we would paint them white :-) Hope that helps!
