I'm guessing the reason why they had an intro song for oneiric diary is maybe to signify that we're entering a new era/concept since they're already done with their flower concepts (color*iz, heart*iz, bloom*iz) but im not too sure hahahahha

Part of it might be too that the concept with this album had theme park elements such as Merry-Go-Round and Secret Story of the Swan so they introduced the concept of IZ*Land as if it was Disneyland.

with*one is fansong, all of IZ*ONE members wrote the lyrics and leader Eunbi composed the song with her friends (called psycho rabbit)
I think that really shows how much of themselves they poured into that track when someone like PD, who admits to usually not being a fan of ballads, immediately feels the weight of it. And Eunbi did an outstanding job together with the other two composers to make sure that the song as a medium would be able to get everything the members put into it across to the fans.

IZ*ONE is one of the Best Ballad Girlgroup Ever. From the music quality, lyrics, and their way to sing it. They're knows how to make every their Ballad songs more prettier then other GG. Maybe they are not Girlgroup with best Harmonization or Acapella Skill. But if that about Ballad, they're singing with Heart. Their Ballad always telling about them. That is the plus point of their Ballad. I really love Ballad Genres. And for me, IZ*ONE Ballads is The Best in 4th Generation. Not only 1 or 2 songs, but ALL. You may not like some of their Dance songs, but for Ballad they're never disspointed❤️

But also not just that their dances never disappoint with the choreography, formations, timings IZ*ONE are so in sync as a group when they dance which is hard with 12 members and also the positioning for the choreo is spot on as the members don’t have to essentially fly across the stage to get to their positions between the verses and chorus for example. Also their visuals and vocals are honestly insane with Yuri’s breathtaking vocals
soososo proud of Hitomi for writing Merry-Go-Round, like Hitomi's just been in Korea for about 2 years now and she single-handledly wrote lyrics not only in japanese but in Korean as well?? THAT'S SOME QUEEN SHIT HERE 👏👏👏

With*One was actually written by the girls, then arranged and composed by their leader Eunbi. Eunbi had all the girls write lyrics separately and sent it to her. She then pick and chose the lyrics from what the girls wrote, arranged it and composed it. You wont see her name in the credits, but you will see the name Psycho Rabbit, thats her composing team.
If IZONE only did Ballads...they would be great. If IZONE only did Cutesy concept...they would be great. If IZONE only did Girl Crush concept...they would be great. I know as fans we tend to give the producers of IZONE a lot of crap for not "treating" the girls better, but they really are doing an amazing job in making the girls better. Its a bonus that the girls contribute so much to composing/song writing and that they are such hard workers when it comes to perfect choreo and fan interaction. I'm hoping for a miracle that they at least extend their contract another year due to Pandemic and Produce48 controversy. I need to see them in concert at least one time before they disband.

With*one is a song written by IZ*ONE Eunbi as lead for Wiz*One. Basically the lyrics was what the members wanted to say to their fans after that 3 months hiatus. In that 3 mos, IZ*ONE and WIZ*ONE almost parted ways, we almost never had BLOOM*IZ just like that. Gone forever. But because we love each other so much and we never gave up, we are all together now.. So when they recorded it or whenever they sing it, you can really feel their emotions, as a fan I felt their pain and gratefulness. A very heartfelt song. The girls have gone through a lot, they were hated, confused, they doubted themselves, blamed themselves... but they didn't gave up and work even harder because they know WIZ*ONE are waiting for them and wanting them to comeback.

I love it when I heard PD said IZ*ONE sings from the heart🥺 They made WITH*ONE and it's such a heartfelt song, all their messages to us WIZ*ONEs were in there. They're always caring and thanking us for everything that they have achieve😭💜

WITH*ONE was actually written by IZ*ONE themselves for WIZ*ONES, it's a fan song, they're telling the fans to lean on them like how they lean on us hence the lyrics "i'll protect you as much as you've been hurt" that's why this song is so meaningful and precious to us
also i agree with PD saying that izone are incredible in delivering ballad songs, they sang it with their hearts🥺❤️

Iz*one and their albums are so refreshing like they have different genres in every album. Always a well produced music. Not to mention the members are so talented and visually pleasing.They’re my favorite group followed by blackpink.
I think that’s what makes IZ*ONE stand out tbh as each album has a different concept and genre which allows the members to show how diverse they are and how well they can fit any concept like when they did a girl crush song in rumour to a super cute song like pretty and so curious they just fit any concept and that what makes the stand out the fact that they can do so many different genres and not stick to just one
PD, Hitomi actually wrote the lyrics for the japanese version of Merry Go Round before the korean version, so its worth checking the jp version of MGR!

Phuwitch Chumsanit the song is korean, but since i’ve been a fan of jpop from long ago, i can sense the Japanese Pop influence in that song, like you can feel it in your face

they made with*one while they're on hiatus, maybe that's why its a very emotional song
Wow, definitely did not expect you to like withone but im glad you did :) This is the album they've been preparing since the silence period, at least for the song withone. Some members began writing diaries since then, writing down about the overflowing love and supports they’ve received from the fans(twitter, instagram daily hashtag events all the way till their postponed Bloom*iz comeback) they had no way to communicate with us. So when a fansong is decided to be made they just poured everything in and the leader Eunbi(co-writer and composer of the song) had a hard time arranging them out haha.
This year has been a really tough year for them with the big controversy, covid, ex-pd Han's songwriting credit frauds, and then the management system (tight schedule, insufficient tutoring which virtually made them prepared all the choreographies and stages from 1 to 10 all by themselves). There’s obviously people out there with way tougher luck, but for idols, they really had it bad for none of the stuff is inflicted by them yet they had to take all the consequences. They had to grow up so quick to get through. Can’t see what future holds but wishing only the best for them sincerely.. Their music show winnings are more than well deserved
When I listen WITH*ONE and remember everything we've been through, it's hard to hold back the tears. :'(

As a BIG fan of Izone who fell in love around Fiesta, I absolutely LOVE this cb and the choreo and outfits and everything about it. Their whole album is amazing, and even though I don't really do intro songs, somehting about this one hits, especially with Yuri's "WELCOME TO lalala" it's absolutely delicious. plus their album has so many bangers, like Merry Go Round (which is a fantastic disco song honestly one of my favorite disco songs) and Rococo with it's catchy as hell chorus

They having an intro because this album is a new one. The last one is a trilogy flower series I think and its end in the bloom*iz. Thats why the album tittle 'Oneiric Diary' didnt have the same sequence tittle '...*iz' like the last albums

Waiting during those 3 months of black-out, hearing nothing from girls or even seeing them, it really took a toll on them and our fandom, both physically and mentally. However, we pushed through those difficult times and now, IZ*ONE has entered a new era which is just the beginning :) Thank you for taking the time to listen to IZ*ONE!
The way PD held his chest with that first "You make me better" was exactly what I did the first time I listened to With*One. I know the background behind the song, but even if you don't know it, the song just really hits something in you. It has that sincerity that moves you to tears. They don't need to use fancy words in their lyrics, because even the seemingly most simple words can really affect a person as long as it's from the heart.

adapun lagu ballad mereka benar benar bisa membuat kita merasakan perasaan dalam lagu tersebut.. sehingga kita bisa merasakan emosi dan terbawa dalam lagu tersebut..

Fun fact: all the members were responsible for the lyrics of With*One. Eun Bi asked all the members to write down what they wanted to tell the fans, then she compiled them and put their words together, and that’s how With*One was composed. The posted the behind the scenes of the recording in ENOZI cam and told the story there. If you watch their live performances, they’re always very emotional while performing this song, especially on their comeback and their KCON special stage. I’m really emotional everytime I hear it, having been a fan since LVER. I’m glad you love it too, PD.

i think the point of the soft, elegant intro was to contrast with Secret Story of the Swan. With a name like "Secret Story of the Swan" you'd expect the soft "Welcome" to flow into an elegant title track, but instead it's this powerful song with brass and loud chanting. It's supposed to make it more surprising

It's truly a song for Wiz*one, it's their gift for us. And the most beautiful one.
This song is so emotional, especially if you saw the recording behind, Eunbi and all the other members care so much into the detail when it comes to delivering the singing in this song. They really want to make a great gift song for us.
It's impossible for us (especially if we also read the lyrics) to not cry listening to this song.
ill be honest, i listened to with*one from the highlight medley and knew i'd love it but never fully checked it out because i wasnt ready for the emotions, this made me cry and im really proud of hitomi for writing really heartfelt lyrics :')
