Guerlain Liu I Perfume meets Opera I Chanel No.5 dupe? Hidden gem? Puccini's heroine,Guerlain's star

In 1929 Jacques Guerlain creates the perfume Liu, in honour of Giacomo Puccini, one of the greatest opera composers of all time.
Liu is the heroine of Puccini's opera Turandot, a woman ready to sacrifice everything for love. As a symbol of unconditional love, Liu is immortalized in musical and perfume notes.
Liu is today part of Guerlain's Les Légendaires collection.

Try a different version of no5. It takes a second to understand it for some people. You’ll know it hit you when you can smell the beeswax candle 🕯️, lye soap, sandalwood and jasmine in it. It’s like poetry and sooo very sweet in the extrait. EDT is close also. The edp is the most woody and powdery. The other versions aren’t very powdery.
