7:05 in the defense of Blast he probably did see Boros using the attack and knew that King would be able to effortlessly stop him and only showed up during the monster association arc because he detected a God cube and the very earth being fucked up by everything that happened at the end the arc and wanted to fix something that King’s overwhelming strength couldn’t fix

Him stopping literal God from showing up to nuke humanity makes him pretty good in my eyes, he also clearly cared about the lives of the heroes while fighting Garou, it's literally the reason he couldn't go all out. Also, he was the reason the planet wasn't nuked in the ominous timeline future.

@@thepieofyourlife4799I know, but there is a chance he's saving other planets, all of his crew appear to be aliens, so It's possible they are protecting every planet not just Earth which is why they can't always show up. God is probably a universal threat which is why Blast has other races helping him, the cubes might be on other planets too which explains why they aren't around very often, because I feel like Blast would have found a majority of the cubes on Earth at this point since he started 17 years ago, 20 technically. We just don't know enough, but making sure God doesn't escape is probably more pressing since he's likely a threat to more than just the Earth. Also, arriving late would make Saitama a bad hero too as he literally admits that he almost always arrives too late, bit I think most people would agree he's a pretty good hero most of the time. Most of the time since he was straight about to nuke the Earth after Genos died.
And the last time she met the fubuki squad, they didn’t leave a good impression either. they were the reason why fubuki lost to do-s and the reason why tatsumaki can’t kill do-s on the spot
Granted it also worth noting that Garou didn’t just beat up Tanktop vegetarian, but also attacked the hero meeting, beating up almost everyone there and sliced a hero arm off, which atleast in my opinion makes showing up with the entire Tanktop army perfectly understandable, and no surprise a child is the most wholesome and empathetic hero. Nice video! I would argue that Watchdog Man could go lower on the list. I personally don't put quite as much emphasis on effectiveness when thinking about heroism (Mumen Rider, for instance). So the fact that he ignores literally any threat outside the borders of Q City like Garou leaving his territory and the alien destruction of A City while he was right there is pretty bad. It seems to me that his motivations for doing hero work are more self-serving like Flash.
He may be self-serving, but that's likely just a side effect of the loyalty to his city. He doesn't want any crime in it and therefore spends most of his time there, which is immensely admirable.

Like you said he might be busy with God at all times, he said he needed to provide support even before Garou starts damaging the dimensional seal so it seems like him and his crew are literally always busy. We know next to nothing about what they have to deal with at all times, we just know that they are used to dealing with threats like Cosmic Garou, so it's safe to assume they are always fighting something that is Boros level or higher since he's technically a God level threat too. It just seems weird to think he's anything other than an actual hero, he's being fighting God for 3 years directly, and actually cares about heroes, he holds back against Garou for that exact reason, and was the only hero capable of stopping Garou and Saitama's planet destroying punch and tried by himself even though he didn't think he actually could. If his friends didn't show up to help he'd still be trying to hold the Serious punch squared. Also, putting Watchdog man higher is weird since while he does defend his city, he also did nothing against Boros, and didn't even show up when Garou starts killing everyone. If the argument is that he didn't know, then shouldn't the same be said for Blast? It's just weird putting him above literally the only hero that has been fighting a God level threat for years at this point.
I re-read through the Monster Association arc recently, specifically an online fan translation. The funniest part of the whole experience was in the chapter where Psykos Orochi's laser cuts out a big swath of ocean, there was a note at the end by the translator that just said "If Blast doesn't show up after somebody literally fucked up the ocean he's a bitchass liar."

Okay I really see your point and generally and I agree with most of them, just wanted to point out that Tatsumaki have a point on her anger towards the Fubuki gang, they are always the cause of her to be in danger, that happened many times, and also I would say she didn't grow because of them, which is why she is weak asf. What I am saying is not that Tatsu is an amazing or perfect hero, but I do believe she is at least good.
I get Tatsumaki being in questionable tier, that where I originally thought she should've gone because of her reckless and irresponsible antics but that Watch Dog Man placement means that she can't be in questionable tier due to her effectiveness. If Watch Dog Man is on Amazing tier, which I think is too high, solely because effectiveness, then Tatsumaki should be higher. And with that same notion, Genos is definitely not on the perfect tier because his effectiveness is severely lacking, not only that but his obsession with Saitama have made him lash out against others regardless of who they are. I'd drop Genos down a tier on that alone, he definitely isn't a perfect hero.

Didn't blast saved the earth from the explosion of saitama (bloodlusted) and cosmic garou causing from the two serious punches plus he saved tatsumaki from the lab and later then she played a major role also this shows his care for earth tho we need to see more of blast and his backstory but putting him in questions tier is would be a quite low for blast and he was fighting for god miore than 20 years from other dimensions with his his friends
I mean, kind of? I feel like most of what You covered is mostly a power thing. 99.9% of people would chose to save the Earth instead of letting it get destroyed if they had the power to save it. Blast saving Tarsumaki is a point in his favor, but he also instilled an incredibly unhealthy world view into her, which Fubuki even refers to as basically a dark shadow casting over her. And Blast fighting God is fine, but again, if a person has knowledge of a being that wants to destroy humanity and the power to combat it, I feel like anyone would chose to combat it.

Tank top master survived two surprise attacks from gums who's a dragon level monster putting in full effort to chomp on him, but not only did he survive but he suffered minor injuries(shallow cuts). In the web comic tank, top master even bloodies and bruises, a dragon level monster that tanked one of flashy flash's attacks. He sucks in all the toxins in the air from the same monster, to stop them from spreading to other cities. He was about to sacrifice himeself, and buy a few extra minutes until another hero showed up. The very next time we see him, he's in the field destroying robots. When his crew gets bodied he shields them from hundreds robot lasers, refusing to go on the offensive and risk their safety.

It was only until tank top fought ugly that he got bodied. Even then, he survived despite his mangled body. The same furher ugly strong enough to rip Gums apart. Then, in the manga, tank top master with his tight tank top damages a dragon level monster capable of tanking a blow from flashy flash. It's likely tank top could competitively battle Gums 1v1, if not outright, beat him. And that's without a tight tank top.

Didn't he literally say the dimensional seal was breaking not too long before Garou even gets God boosted? He was probably still helping his team fix the seal so God couldn't escape, he shows up not too long after the Gamma Ray Burst. We don't really know how busy him and his team are, they probably have barely any down time since they are literally fighting the final boss of the series.

We saw how fast a much weaker Garou was, those fights could have literally been like a couple minutes apart, and I think it's fair to assume holding the guy that made Garou that strong in the first place might take a good amount of time. Also, when was he shown next to the Gamma Ray Burst? Do you mean the redraw? Because I don't recall him actually being there for that, he just knew about it, unless the redraw retconned that too, since he doesn't show up until after it. Regardless, it's kind of hard to know for sure about all of this anyway since their is a lot of plot inconsistencies, for instance Blast should have been able to stop Garou from killing Genos since we see he's actually faster than him and Saitama at that point, but all he does is watch for some reason.

Like, if You're displeased with Child Emperor for this, then by default, You should dislike: -Genos, he had plenty of time to organize some sort of event where the Hero Association could see how strong Saitama is long before he actually told them about Saitama's power in the manga. -Bang, because he saw Saitama's power but didn't try to go to the Hero Association to tell them how strong he really was. Bang is S class rank 3, so if he just told the Association to investigate Saitama better, they would have probably listened. -Tatsumaki, because she knows how strong Saitama is and isn't telling the Hero Association about it. -Fubuki, for the same reason. -King, for the same reason. -The Tank Toppers for season 1. -Flashy Flash -Zombie Man -Dr. Genus The list goes on. Saitama not being recognized is the main joke of the show. If You find it annoying after a certain point, then I don't think it should be blamed on one character, it should be blamed on the premise of the story. At least that's how I see it. And then with King, it's the same deal. The whole point of his character is that everyone acts stupid around him except Saitama. He always gets into trouble and his luck always gets him out of it. Everyone except Saitama is under the illusion that King is some almighty entity. It's not really fair to blame it all on Child Emperor when Zombie Man, Atomic Samurai, Puri and a bunch of other heroes were also right there with him and completely believed the nonsense about King without questioning it for a second. Also, Child Emperor says low sugar levels make him less intelligent, yes, but what he says about that imaginary plan of his is that he's glad he at least managed to come up with something, even if it's not much. He was trying his best to help in that situation and combined with King's luck, it's no wonder he acted that way. Plus, at his core, he's still a kid. Can't really expect him to be fully adult-like 24/7.

i really really hope darkshine gets a redemption arc, it makes me really sad to see him so bullied (and also hated by the community overall. unfortunately, it looks like darkshine is not ever going to get a character arc and will either quit entirely or (as a fan predicted) become an avatar of god, which would be cool but sad. i just really think not letting darkshine grow as a character is such a waste of a potentially really good side story.

God is probably a universal threat which is why Blast has other races helping him, the cubes might be on other planets too which explains why they aren't around very often, because I feel like Blast would have found a majority of the cubes on Earth at this point since he started 17 years ago, 20 technically.
We just don't know enough, but making sure God doesn't escape is probably more pressing since he's likely a threat to more than just the Earth.
Also, arriving late would make Saitama a bad hero too as he literally admits that he almost always arrives too late, bit I think most people would agree he's a pretty good hero most of the time. Most of the time since he was straight about to nuke the Earth after Genos died.

Nice video! I would argue that Watchdog Man could go lower on the list. I personally don't put quite as much emphasis on effectiveness when thinking about heroism (Mumen Rider, for instance). So the fact that he ignores literally any threat outside the borders of Q City like Garou leaving his territory and the alien destruction of A City while he was right there is pretty bad. It seems to me that his motivations for doing hero work are more self-serving like Flash.

He may be self-serving, but that's likely just a side effect of the loyalty to his city. He doesn't want any crime in it and therefore spends most of his time there, which is immensely admirable.

Like you said he might be busy with God at all times, he said he needed to provide support even before Garou starts damaging the dimensional seal so it seems like him and his crew are literally always busy. We know next to nothing about what they have to deal with at all times, we just know that they are used to dealing with threats like Cosmic Garou, so it's safe to assume they are always fighting something that is Boros level or higher since he's technically a God level threat too.
It just seems weird to think he's anything other than an actual hero, he's being fighting God for 3 years directly, and actually cares about heroes, he holds back against Garou for that exact reason, and was the only hero capable of stopping Garou and Saitama's planet destroying punch and tried by himself even though he didn't think he actually could. If his friends didn't show up to help he'd still be trying to hold the Serious punch squared.
Also, putting Watchdog man higher is weird since while he does defend his city, he also did nothing against Boros, and didn't even show up when Garou starts killing everyone. If the argument is that he didn't know, then shouldn't the same be said for Blast? It's just weird putting him above literally the only hero that has been fighting a God level threat for years at this point.

I re-read through the Monster Association arc recently, specifically an online fan translation. The funniest part of the whole experience was in the chapter where Psykos Orochi's laser cuts out a big swath of ocean, there was a note at the end by the translator that just said "If Blast doesn't show up after somebody literally fucked up the ocean he's a bitchass liar."

I get Tatsumaki being in questionable tier, that where I originally thought she should've gone because of her reckless and irresponsible antics but that Watch Dog Man placement means that she can't be in questionable tier due to her effectiveness. If Watch Dog Man is on Amazing tier, which I think is too high, solely because effectiveness, then Tatsumaki should be higher. And with that same notion, Genos is definitely not on the perfect tier because his effectiveness is severely lacking, not only that but his obsession with Saitama have made him lash out against others regardless of who they are. I'd drop Genos down a tier on that alone, he definitely isn't a perfect hero.

Didn't blast saved the earth from the explosion of saitama (bloodlusted) and cosmic garou causing from the two serious punches plus he saved tatsumaki from the lab and later then she played a major role also this shows his care for earth tho we need to see more of blast and his backstory but putting him in questions tier is would be a quite low for blast and he was fighting for god miore than 20 years from other dimensions with his his friends
I mean, kind of? I feel like most of what You covered is mostly a power thing. 99.9% of people would chose to save the Earth instead of letting it get destroyed if they had the power to save it. Blast saving Tarsumaki is a point in his favor, but he also instilled an incredibly unhealthy world view into her, which Fubuki even refers to as basically a dark shadow casting over her.
And Blast fighting God is fine, but again, if a person has knowledge of a being that wants to destroy humanity and the power to combat it, I feel like anyone would chose to combat it.

Tank top master survived two surprise attacks from gums who's a dragon level monster putting in full effort to chomp on him, but not only did he survive but he suffered minor injuries(shallow cuts). In the web comic tank, top master even bloodies and bruises, a dragon level monster that tanked one of flashy flash's attacks. He sucks in all the toxins in the air from the same monster, to stop them from spreading to other cities. He was about to sacrifice himeself, and buy a few extra minutes until another hero showed up. The very next time we see him, he's in the field destroying robots. When his crew gets bodied he shields them from hundreds robot lasers, refusing to go on the offensive and risk their safety.
I haven't read the webcomic fully.
Yeah, Tank Top can survive low level Dragons for a bit, but he can't really deal with them.

It was only until tank top fought ugly that he got bodied. Even then, he survived despite his mangled body. The same furher ugly strong enough to rip Gums apart.
Then, in the manga, tank top master with his tight tank top damages a dragon level monster capable of tanking a blow from flashy flash.
It's likely tank top could competitively battle Gums 1v1, if not outright, beat him. And that's without a tight tank top.
Of course, I wouldn't put manga tank top in low dragon territory, just that he's strong enough to hang with them, if not beat the bottom barrel ones

Didn't he literally say the dimensional seal was breaking not too long before Garou even gets God boosted? He was probably still helping his team fix the seal so God couldn't escape, he shows up not too long after the Gamma Ray Burst. We don't really know how busy him and his team are, they probably have barely any down time since they are literally fighting the final boss of the series.

We saw how fast a much weaker Garou was, those fights could have literally been like a couple minutes apart, and I think it's fair to assume holding the guy that made Garou that strong in the first place might take a good amount of time. Also, when was he shown next to the Gamma Ray Burst? Do you mean the redraw? Because I don't recall him actually being there for that, he just knew about it, unless the redraw retconned that too, since he doesn't show up until after it.
Regardless, it's kind of hard to know for sure about all of this anyway since their is a lot of plot inconsistencies, for instance Blast should have been able to stop Garou from killing Genos since we see he's actually faster than him and Saitama at that point, but all he does is watch for some reason.

-Genos, he had plenty of time to organize some sort of event where the Hero Association could see how strong Saitama is long before he actually told them about Saitama's power in the manga.
-Bang, because he saw Saitama's power but didn't try to go to the Hero Association to tell them how strong he really was. Bang is S class rank 3, so if he just told the Association to investigate Saitama better, they would have probably listened.
-Tatsumaki, because she knows how strong Saitama is and isn't telling the Hero Association about it.
-Fubuki, for the same reason.
-King, for the same reason.

The list goes on. Saitama not being recognized is the main joke of the show. If You find it annoying after a certain point, then I don't think it should be blamed on one character, it should be blamed on the premise of the story. At least that's how I see it.
And then with King, it's the same deal. The whole point of his character is that everyone acts stupid around him except Saitama. He always gets into trouble and his luck always gets him out of it. Everyone except Saitama is under the illusion that King is some almighty entity. It's not really fair to blame it all on Child Emperor when Zombie Man, Atomic Samurai, Puri and a bunch of other heroes were also right there with him and completely believed the nonsense about King without questioning it for a second.
Also, Child Emperor says low sugar levels make him less intelligent, yes, but what he says about that imaginary plan of his is that he's glad he at least managed to come up with something, even if it's not much. He was trying his best to help in that situation and combined with King's luck, it's no wonder he acted that way. Plus, at his core, he's still a kid. Can't really expect him to be fully adult-like 24/7.

i really really hope darkshine gets a redemption arc, it makes me really sad to see him so bullied (and also hated by the community overall.
unfortunately, it looks like darkshine is not ever going to get a character arc and will either quit entirely or (as a fan predicted) become an avatar of god, which would be cool but sad.
i just really think not letting darkshine grow as a character is such a waste of a potentially really good side story.

Isn't part of being a hero having to make difficult decisions?
