I need a mic like this to record my band at rehearsal?! I just got a MacBook Air M2 but I don’t know what mic would be good for it… we’re just messing around so it doesn’t have to be amazing quality. Was using my iPhone voice memo app so anything is an improvement. Would like to get a budget-ish mic that allows me both USB and the other XLR if I get an AI later. Looking at FIFine, Moano or maybe something around $100 that has a relatively balanced plug in play with more options later? Any advice?

I plugged in my headphones but when I go to System Settings on my Macbook Pro M1 it doesn't say anything about headphones under Output. I do see the Blue yeti is connected though. Can I used this with Garage band.

I got that far. My computer recognizes it.. but when I open up a Reason® session, the daw does not recognize it.. any suggestions?

Open Preferences for the DAW and see if you can select the microphone for it?

It was an issue with the USB mic. I created a virtual in/out in my system's sound preferences.. whatever that's called these days. I used BlackHole to do it. It works perfectly. Thanks for the help!@@lenavoyles526
