i think you're right bud, the production dates of both detection devices differ, the Minelab available from Nov 23, but i found earlier public reviews for the Kaiweets for sept 23, Minelab are normally produced in Australia but the Voyager was made in China, Kaiweets is basically the same machine but half the price, shame on Minelab for trying to trick their customers.
Yeah, I mean maybe they needed a detector to fill in their lower end.... If you look closely Minelab did the same thing with their GoFind detectors.... You can find them on Amazon listed under "National Geographic Metal Detector" for around $170...
