    Vando has had lower leg and foot injuries with the Lakers, Jazz, and Timberwolves. A female Jazz reporter warned Laker fans that he's hurt a lot. It doesn't matter how good you are on defense if you're not available to play it

      He’s had foot injuries in College this is why he went so low in the draft. This is concerning for the Lakers they have guys that are currently dead weight in value. Dlo,JHS,Vando & Wood. Atleast Cam salvage his career on a moment. Lakers might need to move Rui or Max to get even greater value in return. Which is unfortunate i rly like Rui 3pt shooting and versatility on the offense

      If vando could stay healthy he would make a first team all defense. Teams will continue to take chances on that hoping he can do that for them.

    So guys, spur surgery is no joke. The reason he's still out is probably because he had significant amount of spurs. This means they had to detach/reattach his Achilles tendons. That's the reason for the very slow ramp time. They're trying to save his career

    Even if he came back tomorrow. He'd still need 10-15 games minimum to get up to speed. Like at a certain point in time we're gonna run outta time for a guy who got played off the floor in the postseason.

    He’s not needed right now. When I heard from Rob about the double surgery, I knew he wouldn’t be back until early 2025. Opening night optimism was wildly out of proportion. Vando is as injury prone as Kawhi. Beware of the silent types and injuries. 😂

  • @diegobromfield
    @diegobromfield 11 วันที่ผ่านมา +3

    14:00 Exactly. The dude has been out for almost a full calendar year. I think we need to move on from him whichever way is possible. Even if he comes back he is either not gonna be 100% for a while and even if he gets back to being that level, he will be hurt again real soon. He is just an injury prone guy. The Wolves had him and a couple other wings and he was the one they decided to let go. They must have known something. Even Ant telling him he has been injured for years. We need to move on from Vando. I am tired of having these never ending injury prone guys on the Lakers this decade.

    We have been "Kendrick Nunned" with Vando. It was clear in training camp that when he was out this long and there are no real reports about him, or only vague reports, that the guy is not coming back anytime soon. I figured all along he would not play in 2024 and now I think it is unlikely he will play this season at all. I am waiting for the report that he is undergoing season ending surgery. By the way, I think Christian Wood may be in this same situation Rob P. should have anticipated this over the summer. Between the unplayable guys on the roster (JHS, Lewis and Bronny) and the injured players Vando and Wood, the Lakers only have a ten man roster The team is off to a good start but the lack of depth has got to catch up with them at some point.

    Lineup/Rotation Thoughts: We have 5-1 Way Players on Our Team (Off: AR/Rui/Knecht/Def: Cam/Vando). AR will be a Starter the remainder of the LBJ 👑 LAker Era so, We have to Pair AD/LBJ/AR with 2-Way Players however, bcuz We don’t have any of those, We need 1 Off Player & 1 Def Player on the Court.
    My Suggestion: Start Cam/Rui and bring Knecht off the Bench for LBJ @ that 5/6 min Mark in the 1/3 Qtr. When Vando returns, consider starting Vando/Knecht with Rui being that 1st Sub for LBJ @ PF which, is His Natural Position. However, We NEED Rui to continue to Average 15+/5+!!!

    Their just trying not to make the same decision as Darwin Ham had to because they were losing. He means so much to this roster they rushed him back and he never fully healed. Lakers needs him at 90% with enough time to get this new offense down and to get back into game shape. It’s still enough time for that. Feet problems are very delicate situations, in everyday life and especially when it comes to sports. The facts there were no setbacks is the best news. Jarred Vanderbilt. The lack of transparency to me suggests that there might be a disagreement between Vando's doctors and the Lakers doctors. Rob P can't speak to medical issues. The only person who can address the medical situation is Vando. Lakers and fans want a conclusion. Agree with Brian. Time to move on from Vando, player X.

    Hey Andy / Brian, would either of you consider trading Vando given this recent injury history? I for one would pull that trigger yet I love Vando. Problem is given his foot problems to date, NO ONE wants damaged goods. But I’d like to package Vando, Wood, JHS, Lewis, Gabe, plus a couple of picks, a combination of any or all of them and try for a DFS, or Mr.Bridges from the Hornets, or Jonas, Kuzma, maybe 2 of these names…..then hustle and bring back Lonnie Walker IV. What are your thoughts?

    Vanderbilt and reddish in the starting lineup with AD will make us the best defensive team in the league. With the way our offense is flowing on most nights and having a real shooter in knecht now it’s not an oversight to say realistically we’re a top 3 team in the west. I’d put us right there with Denver and OKC for favorites to make the finals. I think Boston, NY, Cleveland, OKC, LAL, and Denver are the only possible championship teams this season. Potentially the warriors, wolves, or suns but I doubt it

The point I make is that players, management and ownership, tire of whiny ass, know nothing or know everything, bratty, juvenile, sophomoric "fans." As a franchise, you WANT support from your base, but not "fanatics." You can't "train" these imbeciles to be "happy and surprised", they're way too spoiled....and it's throughout the league in every support base. My advice/solution? Get over it, it ain't changin'
