That's awesome man. I'm picking up mine this week in Perth Western Australia. My first electronic piece of kit since my 808, which I still got. This will take me and my band to the edge. Thanks Roland, In Ringo We Trust
Love these videos. Steve is actually a really good drummer. Didnt get thru the whole video yet, but impressed with the Funky Jazz kit, #35. at 12:07 , really liked Steve's playing right there.
Sad thing is, I was just playing one on Friday at guitar center and it sounds SO MUCH BETTER than youtube allows it to sound on here, and I was playing using some CHEAP Headphones!
I was told that the difference between the td-15k heads and the td-15kv heads is the 15k has a plastic ring on the inside outermost edge of the head. I don't know why it's there. The only negative I can think of is that it makes the head smaller. The only other difference between the two kits is the 15kv has a hi hat stand and the 15k does not. hope this helps.
hey alex,I it's been a while since your post so I don't know if you have it sorted but I am using a TD11 module with PD85 mesh pads for the toms and snare. There is a section in the editing where you can assign any sound you want to the rims without splitters or any extra plugs.I have extra crashes and a china on one of my kits extra toms on the rims for covering bands with huge drumkits etc.I'm sure that if the 11 can do it that the 15 would have the same feature.hope that helps.
ok so 2 questions. can I just turn my snare wires off for an easy transition back and forth and can I assign ANY sound that is in the module to the rims. IE if I want a tambourine or a cowbell on any of the kits
ROLAND PLEASE ANSWER THIS!! I'm having a hard time finding the answer to this...I absolutely love everything about this kit, but I'm concerned about being able to add the amount of cymbals that I use on my normal acoustic set. It is possible to use "splitters" to sacrafice tom rim sounds for cymbals instead? I would like to add an extra crash, china, and a splash. Is that possible with the TD15KV?
1. - How many x-tra line outputs are there on the module. Let's say for an extra tom and a cymbal. 2. - Does the module has the exact same quality in the sounds as the module for the TD-30? I meen, can I later buy a snaredrum for this kit and get the same sensibility as through the TD-30 module?
Dude I have the roland TD11kv and the sound on that is better than what i just heard and the 15kv is better than that!!..Plus the TD11kv and 15kv stand is so much better and doesn't move like those did..Did you see his pads jumping around PFFF
Nerfball6 - Nope NEVER! It's freakin frustrating huh? lol hahaha 😁 I always get frustrated with these Roland vids, Because after you watch them, If you have questions about it..lol..4 get about it!.. But I have this module and I love it. I seriously think the td15 module is better than the td25 module hands down.
the TD15 is definitely better, the only reason I can see it being replaced with the 25 is that the 15 too closely resembled the TD11 module physically and it was hard to sell for the extra cash, even though it was the better module.
Average Jack Media - Agree! I had the Td25kv for over a year- It sounds awesome - But it doesn't have all the extra sound effects and loops I wanted to play along with 80's & 90s songs. I sold my td25 module and bought a td15 module - It has 30 more pre-set kits, Plus it has like 20 plus sound effects that's perfect to play 80's songs! ALL IN ALL I believe the TD15 module is a better buy. Plus you can make it sound "Just like " the td25 after tweeking Tone Color/Ambience / Tuning/ Gated Reverb effects, etc.. But seriously right now it's hard to find a td15 module.. But hey I've got one so I'm good lol hahaha 😁
I can't understand, for what reason a professional produced Video has a delay between Video and Audio. In every simple low cost Video-Editor I can do much better. ;-(
maybe you don't know the 2box, because the response is greatest and a lot much natural than any roland, td30 included, but also 2box sounds and feel are better than Yamaha too. Hardware is better on roland and yamaha, but sound... Watch this!! th-cam.com/video/D8upY0QDgwk/w-d-xo.html

Does the V-Drum Tutor software offer a feature that transcribes what I would play on the v-drum kit into music notation?

How come you can't change the cymbal size like there was in the td 9? Is there a feature on the td 15 that compensates for this?
Si può avere una versione tradotta?

How many pad/ cymbal input jacks are there?

Yeah the 15k has the same pads as the td11kv. The 15kv has better and bigger pads that are alot better to hit..
Ni one noticed 14:55?
