thanks, no there is no danger, the marked path leads through the glaciers up to the hut.. as soon as you stay on it, there's no danger.. but still it is alpine evviromnent.. so no one can be ever sure... we didn't have to use crampons, as soon as the sun comes up, the glacier starts to melt and turning into a small river. But it is depending on the conditions. But this marked trail is officilaly opened only in the hot summer months july-august.. so it only freezes in the night.. it means during the day can be happily done without crampons. Trekking poles are in very goog use on the glacier tour!!
