I enjoyed your video. I think that I might try that boat ramp this coming Thursday or Friday morning. I live in Salisbury, so I figured that you might be from around the area.
The wind was fierce last Friday at High Rock, and water was still stained.
Would enjoy fishing with you sometime.
The wind is bad on high rock and Norman the smaller lakes aren't so bad. I usually can only fish on Tuesdays. I'm actually about the same distance from Hickory as high rock
I might get a Tuesday to fish here in a couple weeks. Thinking about taking a weeks vacation and fish every day I can.
Well, don't worry about it. Saw another video of you fishing in a Saturday tournament, so that kinda blows up your fishing on just Tuesday. Sorry, I think I will just unsubscribe to your channel and just not worry about it. Good luck in your future endeavors.

I never did well at dusty ridge off land myself but I've been kayaking and will try there again I've been fishing rhodhiss and up passed castle bridge I caught 4 largemouth and alot of panfish I found a deps wagasaki bait in a tree the other day kayaking thought what the heck tied it on caught a bass not even 5 minutes later lol those baits are great
That is an expensive bait to find for free. Both Hickory and Rhodhiss are really tough in the summer but fall will be good
@@landonmoore76 I believe the bait is like 20 bucks or so right? And yeah hickory and rhodhiss are tough lakes but in summer after a good thunderstorm I do very well with a crawfish trailer on a weedless football jig in rocky areas the bass tear them things up when I panfish I catch alot of small largemouths on a pink trout magnet on a small jig hook fish love that little thing I get bites and catch fish all day long on that little thing its insane lol

That first fish was off the dock of the house I’m staying at for a week and we have caught a couple big cat fish but that’s it

Nice fish. It’s great landing that right away. Question, I have that same kayak. A 2021 version. Do you still have the original rudder or did you upgrade to the newer one (that flips down)? I kind of can’t stand the original rudder but don’t really want to spend money on the new one either. It’s not necessarily cheap.
I have the original rudder and I feel like I need to upgrade. It's impossible to turn unless I get the kayak moving. I get snagged all the time and it's a pain

Yeah I have a few videos from there. It's my favorite local lake. I haven't been there since last year
