Doctor Snipes, you are like a wise mother. I feel as if you know everything about my childhood and how to heal from the abuse and dysfunction of it. You explain everything so clearly in your videos and I value and treasure your wisdom and intelligence. I in my mid forties am learning so much about myself, relationships, and how to be a happier, mentally healthier person. Thank you for your gifts to the world! I tried to make a donation, but I kept getting an error message.
Thank you so much for your kind words! If you found the video helpful, please feel free to share it with others who might benefit. Also, you can find more indepth info at DocSnipes.com/Clones.
Dr. Snipes....you have helped me so much this past year after I went no contact with my narcissistic family. I sit and binge watch your videos like a student. I used your information to post on Facebook to help other people healing from trauma. I share your videos. I just wanted to sneak in here and say that. I think you're adorable. Thank you for doing what you do
You’re so welcome. Thank you so much for sharing the videos. I am so grateful for that and I appreciate you watching. What is your favorite tip from the video?
I look at a lot of your videos to teach me things for my job, but I come to find that you help me learn a lot for myself. Not just for others. So, thank you for making this podcast.
I am only doing my masters in psychotherapy with CBT modality at the age of fifty. You are absolutely my therapist goal! It has been a long road for me and I would advise anyone watching and reading, it is never too late to relapse your career dreams. I love your delivery and clear joy in helping others. Thank you, thank you, thank you for your videos
Thank you so much for your inspiring comment! It’s truly wonderful to hear that you’re pursuing your master’s in psychotherapy and following your dreams-it’s a powerful reminder that it’s never too late to chase our passions and make a difference in the world. Love your work and appreciate that your delivery is calmer and more regulated as my nervous system is so traumatized that I am sensitive to anxiety in people's voices... and I can really take in your stuff now so I am really grateful... also I love how you are incarnating being a Woman!! Thank you for you and your great work!!!
I love listening to your videos. They have been helping me through my separation with my husband that I am experiencing right now. CBT, DBT, co-dependency, ADHD, Anxiety, Depression topic videos. I listened to others too, but more so of the ones I mentioned above. Please keep up the great work. 💟💟💟
Hope you're doing better, guided meditations can be very helpful, the first one I ever did happened to be so good for me, haven't found another like it since but they are short and are not bad. You know how sometimes you scroll and pick a random video that is meant for you to hear... Stay strong.
Thanks Dr for sharing....when i began my brain dumping journey, i remember i kept yawning repeatedly. It's like i hadn't yawned in ages. I'm glad yawning was a part of this discussion. Finding this video is very on-time for me tuning in and protecting my self physically. I have a fear that someone threatens my physical safety to get control over me emotionally and this is all "stuff" from the past as well as the present. I have a stalker and I need to stand up to him as I work to get my emotional and physical safety problem healed I did not feel physically safe as a child unless I was doing what my father wanted in service to him. Thank you for helping me get in touch with this as well as even helping me get to a place where I can finally start to address it.
Hi Dr. Snipes!!! Amazing video!!! Occasionally, my mom would say very negative things to me when I was eating lunch. I believe that it’s because of her own battles with depression/ eating disordered.
I’m so glad you found the video helpful both personally and professionally! It means a lot to hear that. Which tool stood out to you the most, or is there one you’re excited to try in your practice? I’d love to hear your thoughts!
Instead of others using my emotions against me, in this video you empower me to use my emotional messages to create good things for me as they can be pointers to what I need. EMPOWER is the big word here instead of pity, mock, use, dismiss, and degrade me for my emotions and, for that matter, vulnerability, which is used in a competitive culture.
I am getting counselling at the moment here in NZ, its been really helpful. I think I would get tremendous value sitting with you going through some stuff. Your very insightful and I love the energy and passion you bring.

Hi Doctor Snipes. I would like to turn your attention to the mathematical formula, and offer an updated formula. Current model: Hours x Intensity / total hours. That stinks (literally)! You might consider putting air fresheners in your AC vents, or using a scented lotion or cream if you are able so that is what you are smelling. An air purifier with an ionizer might also help, but those can get pricey. Here are some other suggestions from YT th-cam.com/users/results?search_query=block+smells+from+neighbors+apartment
What if you don't trust people like when I have anxiety--how do you be yourself with them? I think evil is in them because they don't identify my fear during my anxiety. If I believe that the truth is false, how can I listen to you with belief. I am a paranoid schizophrenic and being honest is not who I think explains me if I were to discuss myself with you. The psychiatrist in my first hospitalization in a psychiatric ward took away my metal utensils for eating when I told her I felt like harming others in a friendly way after her query of me. I don't know but they got rid of me from a DBT class in my program for the mentally ill for some reason--they didn't want to let me know what they think is my conclusion.

When you were a child the needle seemed so big. As you grow to adult size the needle is really much smaller. Update your view AND, ask for a reward like candy or a sticker. Seriously, it helps adults as well as children.

Dr.Snipes what about pot and nicotine smells from my neighbours that is very stressful and I cannot help the situation?!?
Well that’s good for you I guess
Since I don't have an ice pack, I use a bag of frozen vegetables to put over my eyes to calm down 🙂
That’s an awesome idea. Thank you for sharing it and thank you for watching the video

How does someone get diagnosed?
Thanks for watching. A psychiatrist or psychologist who has experience helping people with mental illnesses can diagnose trauma (PTSD).

When you were a child the needle seemed so big. As you grow to adult size the needle is really much smaller. Update your view AND, ask for a reward like candy or a sticker. Seriously, it helps adults as well as children.
Hot and smart 🤝
